The claim that only 40,000 Arab citizens have voted for the "zionist" parties is ludicrous and shows that radical Arab MKs are as trustworthy as Hamas politicians. In any case, if Arab citizens won't show up to vote they will be underrepresented. If they show up "to avenge" this will be a victory for Israeli democracy. Accorig to the latest polls Tibi and company will loose their votes since they care more for Hamas and Hisbollah than for their constituency's interests

I don't think Arabs should boycott elections and I DO NOT like Tibi and most of the Arab politicians but they and Israeli Arabs have rights. They have the right to protest, scream, etc. and not vote. It is amazing how we refuse to listen to them/put them down when they protest but are shocked when they turn violent out of frustration.

Israeli arabs (an inherent oxymoron now proven by Tibi) do have all those rights you mention. Yet when Jews wish to engage in the same rights, leftists and arabs immediately seek court intervention to disallow that right. Why the double standard?

Just like Jews, arabs (and religious Jews) must be required to engage in National Service. ALL citizens should be made to pledge allegiance to the State of Israel when voting or running for public office. If they don't want to join the army, there are many other avenues that can be provided. As for access to the perks of citizenship, if National Service is not engaged in, then those perks should be denied: No automatic health benefits; no free higher education; no civil service positions. NOW THAT WOULD BE EQUALITY!
