Michael Ross ,   Vancouver Canada   (02.10.09)
This should not be a surprise. Hamas rules by the gun. They would be booted out by most Palestinians, but few dare to oppose these thugs. Those marching in the streets througout the world should wake up, and protest for the liberation of 'Palestine' from Hamas and the other useless gangs.
32. Next Week: Hell Freezes Over

Wow, Amnesty International actually doing something other than picking on civilized countries they know don't shoot back? Next week? Hell freezes over.

35. more patronizing crap from "amnesty international"
tom ,   toronto, canada   (02.11.09)
"It called on the "Hamas de facto administration" to immediately end the campaign, accept an independent and impartial investigation and guarantee that victims and witnesses would not be targeted. " how about arresting and punishing the perpetrators? or is that too much to expect from a "de facto administration" run by a bunch of self-righteous jihadists? it is SO very patronizing to lower one's expectations when dealing with "uncivilized" people - why can't amnesty international demand the same standards of justice and human rights in gaza, as in the rest of the civilized world? amnesty only really shows its muscle when it criticizes israel or the united states. saying unfavourable things about hamas (or fatah or the taliban) could get ugly.... what a bunch of hypocritical bastards!
36. #19 "innocent" gazans hiding weapons & bombs in\under houses
israeli   (02.11.09)
idf went in on a mission to destroy arsenal, after gazans used it for years against israel. since explosives were stashed in civilian houses, idf destroyed houses. in my humble opinion one can not sit atop explosives but blame others when they explode. strange how gazans were shooting at the idf, without warning citizens to clear the area. instead they waited for the idf to warn civilians of danger to civilian life. as for the zoo, it was boobeytrapped during the war by gazans in case idf wakled in. as you know, hamas has promised the idf a big surprise should idf decide to send infantry to gaza. it was broadcasted on tv, idf knew it shant be a walk in the park.
37. NO COMMENTS FROM MARCO or LYDIA?
Nudnik   (02.11.09)
What no comments from #1 resident Pal lovers and Israel bashers? Hypocrites.
38. #19 - Eissa - have you read the Arab media lately??
William ,   Israel   (02.11.09)
Tons of unsubstantiated reports against Israel and Jews are published, even with incidiary cartoons tying to old blood libels. Does Arab press allow dissenting viewpoints like Ynet allows yours? Did they ever retract the false claims of a massacre in Jenin or the death of the 12-yr old boy in Gaza that was found to be at the hands of Pal terrorists? You claim that "one must kill the spies in time of war". Do you mean anyone that disagrees with you, as Saddam did in Iraq, and Syria and Iran does now? Are you advising Israel to follow suit by killing Arabs MKs and citizens who not only protesting the war, by actively sided with Hamas and called for the destruction of Israel?
