of course the peace process has been derailed because of israel since israel is the only contributor to peace in the equation. maybe if palestinians would try to make peace work, there would be progress toward peace in some meaningful way, other than their usual "give me, give me, give me" and "poor me, poor me" participation. it is a waste and pointless as it has been.

no one in Israel. The Palestinians are totally divided and fighting and killing each other. One side supports terrorism, suicide bombings and even brutally killed their fellow Muslim opposition. Some Arab mks support Hezbo and see all Arabs as righteous soldiers and Jews as killers - thence the "Death to the Jews" rantings of Arab members of parliment. Who can you trust? Do you honestly think that Israelis are dumb? I speak Arabic is right. We know and we are feed up of the double standard that leaves us doubting our own efforts for peace. We exited Gaza for what - and look what happened? Peace????? Where are the Arab honest voices. We want peace with honest people who do not shout "death to the Jews" and care more for their own people than they do for hating us.

In Arabic the words Salam and Islam have the same root. Islam means Total Submission. Therefore when Arabs talk about Salam -"Peace" - in their mind they mean Submission of the enemy. Therefore, in the media, or when Arabs talk to "Peace" negotiators, they use this double speak to mislead everyone. The outside world thinks they want Peace, but the Arabic speaking world knows better.

Hi Mohannad: In answer to your question, based on the past sixty-one years of history. If the Arabs had really won, there would have been no Israel. Therefore, we can deduce that they lost. Thus, we have a precedent that Israel can survive.
