If Likud doesnt choose to form a national coalition with Kadima Peres will take notice then after that choose Livni over Netanyahu to form the coalition. Peres knows a right wing government led by Netanyahu wont make peace.

What I said was - I agree with No. 1 - we have no business letting Russia into this at all. They are not our friends. They are supplying Iran with nuclear technology.

the arabs won't make peace. Bibi has as much chance as a Kadima led government. Mind you, I am not a fan of his, but I think its true. And Peres will select whichever party has, with its likely coalition partners, more mandates. That's how it works over here.

russia simply wants to destroy Israel. it's obvious. russia created PLO/fatah, russia openly supports hamass/fatah, arms iran, syria, and libya. what more do you need to see to understand??? Israel don't be so naive. The world is NOT interested in peace between Israel and arabs. The world wants Israel to be destroyed.

Arabs couldn't come close to peace with more moderate Israeli governments. How do they want to do it now? The Arabs and Muslims are hoping world community will squeeze Israel while they prepare for the next big war. That's their idea of peace.

We all have seen Russian "peacekeeping" spirit in South Ossetia and Abkhazia. They showed the world that if you have considerable military advantage - you can annex someone else's territory (or call it independent, but really annex it anyway) and all you will have is a bit of criticism but no real action against you. Perhaps they want to share the "know-how" in this area?

It does not matter if the "peacemaker" is Russian, American or anything else; ITS NOT THEIR FIGHT!! The best thing that Israel's "friends" can do is to butt out. And the best thing that Israel can do is to politely thank them and todirect them to the messes in their own back yards. Israel must tell the various influence seeking meddlers that she will not be defeated at the conference table by advocates of a rabble that tried and failed to beat her on the fields of battle.
