I found Syrian is way different than other Arab society, more open minded and less rigid about strict religious rules. It’s hard to find extremists like Wahabbis there although it’s a host for other fanatic Muslims like Hamas.
All in together, I believe if there would be a talk between the US, Iran and Syria, human rights should be in the first priority otherwise it won’t do any good.
