Why is it that after the monumental military victory in Gaza, Israel is considering EXCHANGING prisoners rather than force Hamas to return Shalit or continue the war?

All the IDF succeeded in doing was Killing & Injurying thousands of Non Combatants .. the IDF left Hamas in a far stronger state than before the War... It is Hamas that Won... It is Hamas that the US and Europe are now Talking to... and it is Hamas that will Dictate the terms of any Peace.

His comment is exactly what is wrong with comiserating with Arab Countries as they live in a fantasy world, and consequently there will never be a solution when dealing with people who are insane. The reason that the Palestinians have not been able to accomplish anything over sixty years is because of their persistence in declaring their stunning "defeats" to be "victories." In the event you have not noticed, Hamas got kicked in the nether regions, really hard, by Israel. Keep up with your "victories." They are very, very good for Israel --- and you will have a new Dresden-type "victory" coming up right around the corner.
