The kassams still come in, and now that the IDF is out of Gaza, there is not much it can do against it, short of a new invasion. The trend started in the Yom Kippur war, of withdrawing too early, has cost Israel much credibility in the eyes of the enemies. On a military level - no deterrent, but also on the political level - no Shalit, the world falsely believing in many civilian victims and homeless Gazans. And now there is a threat from the north as well, as hezbolla is trying out Israel's apparently non-existing deterrent. I do hope that Livni and and/or Netanyahu will do something about it.

What is the Israeli government waiting for in order to put an end to the rocket and mortar attacks fired by Gaza terrorists at Israel. The right decision would be to destroy the Hamas regime in Gaza, and suspending the negotiations for a final status agreement with Palestinian Authority Chairman and Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas. Israel has the duty to defend its citizens, not with moderation, but with all its might.
