What was the reason for the 3 week onslaught on Gaza? Hamas wanted a "PR" victory, what it cost in the lives of Palestenians was irrevelant. It did not surprise me to see the leader of Hamas appear after the ceasefire looking very healthy, rested and well fed - no dark rings under his eyes!! It really shocks me that no one has commented upon the "leaders" absence during the mini-war. Where was he? Leading his troops and hoping for martyrdom? We heard a lot about martyrs - but they were the innocent citizens of Gaza sacrificed for public opinion. I condem what the army of Israel inflicted on the people of Gaza, but I hold the leaders of Gaza responsible.

Majority recognizes the Palestinians and the Govt. but not the HAMAS TERRORIST. The Govt. of Pres. Abbas, recognizes Israel. And Hamas fighters- they are not fighting for the Palestinian people. They also refuse to believe that some 'peaceful agreement' is IMPOSSIBLE when the other side wants you *GONE*. *Please* BELIEVE what this man says!! From the outside point of view, it appears that the great people of Isreal have three choices to follow. Only one choice offers peace. (1) Let the current status continue (2) Train & arm Fatah for an invasion of Gaza to overthrow & kill all the Hamas operatives or (3) The IDF must execute an operation to crush Hammas once & for all. If women & children are killed, it is the choice of Hamas who hide among civilians like little scared sissys.
