1. Grasshopper's never defeat their enemies
Marcel ,   Florida   (03.02.09)
It takes a people with true faith in Hashem to stand and live in the land of Israel instead of always retreating and appeasing their enemies. Grasshoppers do not have a future in modern Israle as they did not have a future in Israel of old. Israel so easily led about by the ring in her nose cannot say no to her destroyers because of the sin of idolatry. Every Jew who went along with the U.S. led 2 state Road Map is the modern face of the faithless 10 spies and the majority who died in the midbar. Israel's sin of placing her hope and faith in the U.S for peace instead of obeying Hashem(Exodus 23:27-33) has led to this disaster. The 'process' has been very bad for Israel because idolatry always leads to disaster.America is not your God, Israel.Stop giving this reprobate nation more honor than you do to Him.
2. I've said that all along, I'm with the IDF.
Ypip ,   Canada   (03.02.09)
frustrated with the poor judgement of the politians over Israel's security. Op Cast Lead has turned into a complete waste.
3. Of course you did a lot
Jay ,   MI, USA   (03.02.09)
you considerably reduced the number of Palestinian children and women. Moreover, for those who were not eliminated, you made their lives very difficult and hard. Kudos!
4. lol Tell us something new... There is no Peace without
RJBH ,   Methil   (03.02.09)
Hamas Participation .. Hamas will Dictate the Terms of any peace.
5. #3 every dog has his day JAY
hakim ,   usa   (03.02.09)
Israel wins battles but will never win THE WAR.....she proves it over and over again...ONLY TIME WILL TELL!!!!!
6. The real losers in Gaza
Kim ,   Australia   (03.02.09)
Poor Boaz Chalamish and Major G, they had to leave their families and put their lives on "hold" for 10 or 14 days! Next time they complain perhaps they should think about the 500 children and 100 women killed by Israeli troops in this barbaric war, along with hundreds of civililan men. Their lives have been put on "hold" forever. As usual, another sickening example of Zionists claiming victimhood when they are not the victims but in fact the agressor, occupier and oppressor.
7. Thank God
santana   (03.02.09)
you're back home safe and not left back in Hamas captivity. That's why they quickly pulled you out of that dangerous area. Yes, you deserve a great badge of courage and heroism for having reduced the number of women, children and buildings. Whether YOU did it or your aircrafts did, it doesn't matter. What matters is that you're back and you can see your loved ones and live again. But take my advice. Don't venture again, little boys, lest your moms will lose sight for having lost you for ever.
8. Brothers in Arms
David ,   Tel Aviv   (03.02.09)
Not to worry guys, we'll go back in again soon under a new government. We'll keep going back in until the has been crushed.
9. #3,#5 Israel has won every war.. your time is coming
Sandi   (03.02.09)
Not to worry, you will beg for mercy. Start digging your graveyards!
10. #6 The "real losers" going lose a few more soon
Scott ,   Australia   (03.02.09)
The Palestinian rabble needs to be utterly smashed. Pack the kids and women off to Egypt or Jordan - leave the filthy male rats to be exterminated.
11. Kol Hakavod le Tsahal!!!
sabbageorge ,   Tel Aviv   (03.02.09)
Kol Hakavod le Tsahal!!!
12. Ignore the congenital critics. Change is coming.
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, DC USA   (03.02.09)
Jay, RJBH, hakim and others like them are always in the wings, ready to spout Hamas propaganda about civilian casualties. They can't be reasoned with. These soldiers are right. The IDF was ready and willing to do the job, and get it done. It was the leadership - anxious to get a new ceasefire almost from the start, anxious not to "embarrass" the new US President - which blew it, yet again. But change is coming. An Israeli leadership whose notion of "strategy" extends beyond pleasing the US and EU is being formed. They'll be less inclined to simply "declare victory and go home" before getting the job done.
13. military power is never the answer
George Hazou ,   jerusalem , Israel   (03.02.09)
My dear Israeli friends, soldiers and civilians alike God knows how many times this has been said- there is no military solution to the Israeli / Palestinian conflict. This is not a matter of who should bring who to their knees. This is a matter of trying to live together side by side and no one should control anyone. Both peoples want to live a decent life. Without a political solution, military power can only complicate things – Israelis should be reminded that it is only a question of a few months before Hamas fighters will be able to smuggle or perhaps manufacture rockets that can reach as far as Tel Aviv but this is not the answer either. This conflict can only be resolved politically. A two state solution is still possible – let us work on that before it gets too late – my fear is that with a right wing Gov’t, this two state solution vision will be over and then what … remember military power is not the answer and if I am wrong then let the coming days tell you
14. 20% S"DEROTIANS NEED PSYCHIATRIC TREATMENT
ROLAND SEENER ,   LONDON ENGLAND   (03.02.09)
GAZANS MUST LEARN THE HARD WAY ,THERE MUST BE NO REMORSE SHOWN FOR WITHHOLDING HUMANITARIAN EFFORTS 20% OF THE CITIZENS OF S"DEROT ARE IN NEED OF PSYCHIATRIC TREATMENT .HAMAS IS LAUGHING AND HAPPY AT THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS .IDF HAS BEEN TOO HUMANITARIAN AND HAVE RETAINED THEIR "ADRENALINE" OVER 8 YEARS THERE COMES A TIME WHEN THIS GLAND MUST EXPRESS ITSELF FOR IF STORED CAN DAMAGE HEALTH .IT IS TIME FOR FULL ACTION DESPITE THE CONSTANT FLOW OF DIGNITARIES THAT COME HERE.THE JOB MUST BE FINISHED. KLAL ISRAEL HAS FORGOTTEN WHAT GOOD NEWS IS ALL ABOUT .LET US CHANGE IT BESRAT "HASHEM "QUICKLY!
15. Don't say you did nothing.
Ben Alofs ,   Bangor, UK   (03.02.09)
Your actions in Gaza ensured, that the International Court of Justice and individual countries - keeping in mind the principle of universal jurisdiction wich applies to war crimes - are looking at ways in how Israel's war criminals can be brought to justice. You want to stop the missiles from falling inside Israel? Lift the blockade and allow the Palestinians to lead a life in freedom and dignity, like you want it for yourself. You want the freedom of Gilad Shalit? Then free all the Palestinian lawmakers you took hostage and all those Palestinian policitical prisoners, who are languishing in 'administrative detention' without any charge or trial brought against them. Free all those Palestinian children, whom you would never have incarcerated had they been Jewish children. It is all pretty straightforward. Treat others as you want to be treated.
16. Thank you!
(03.02.09)
Thank you Olmert! Thank you Livni! Thank you Barak! Gabi Ashkenazi and the heros of the IDF gave Israel a victory and the three stooges wasted it for personal gain. The only mystery is why a third of Israeli's voted for these losers.
17. "purity of arms" ties IDF's hands
Y ,   Nitzan, Israel   (03.02.09)
As long as the IDF's "purity of arms" (Tohar Haneshek) guidelines prevents targeting "non combatants", the IDF will never hurt the arabs of Gaza, Lebanon, or Judea/Samaria. There will never be deterrence. Once again, the arabs of Gaza continue to bomb Ashkelon, S'derot, Netivot with no consequences. The IDF continues to bomb launchers, empty "police stations", empty fields, all in the vain effort to "send a message". Time to hit the actual enemy.
18. "'It's as if we did nothing"
Observer   (03.02.09)
If killing hundreds of civilians does not count for Israel then the far less deadlier Quassams can't be stopped - they would count less then nothing.
19. 15 Ben Yes Indeed.. You Say it All.
RJBH ,   Methil   (03.02.09)
20. Scott # 10. Sounds like you have issues
Chocko ,   NY, USA   (03.02.09)
Looking for a bit of ethnic cleansing I see. Why dont you tell us how you really feel. I bet you probably wouldnt even send the kids and women off to another country either, would you, after all those kids will just grow up to be troublesome adults, wont they. Why dont you just sort them all out or even 'Exterminate' them all.. Tell me, did you live in South Africa before the regime change and do you like using the word Kaffir a lot.
21. # 12 Raymondo
Chocko ,   NY, USA   (03.02.09)
So innocent Men, Women, and Children being killed is Propoganda. Isnt it nice that humanity cannot be reasoned with. Isnt it awful that people like you exist.
22. #13 George Hazou
Chocko ,   NY, USA   (03.02.09)
I wish there were more of you George, but unfortunately I think you are by far in the minority with your views....
23. # 14 - Roland
Chocko ,   NY, USA   (03.02.09)
Are you Serious... 20% of S"derotians need psychiatric treatment..... Thats at least 30% below what New Yorkers require. Your doing well by most standards. Oh and isnt it nice that its only psychiatric treatment, not prosthetic limbs & skin grafts from phosphorous burns, (which were only used to light the way folks, now thats propoganda Raymond #12) Or new homes, lives, a future, but wait a minute, 20% of S"derotians require psychiatric treatment... Well isnt that a tragedy.
24. 3,4,5,15,18. blind to the truth. jew haters.
(03.02.09)
all of you idiots turn the truth around. no point in arguing with you.not to worry you and your evil will be wiped off the face of the earth. the god of ISRAEL will NEVER let his people completely fall. in the end we will stand on your ashes!!!! sucks for you!
25. To: Kim at No. 6 SECOND ATTEMPT
Sarah ,   New York City, USA   (03.02.09)
Dead children? Can you be a little more specific? Do you mean the children sold to Hamas by their parents for use as suicide bombers? Do you mean the children sent to play on roofs despite clear and consistent warnings that a bombardment was in the offing? Or did you perhaps mean the children who were endangered because Hamas deliberately put ammunition dump next to schools? Alternatively, are you referring to the children which Hamas used as human shields? You need to be a tadbit more specific, Kim. I wish also to point out that Israel has endured eight years of missile attacks and twenty years of suicide bombing. How many countries can you name that would tolerate such attacks for even eight seconds before retaliating?
26. we all know the reason for this
chaim ,   brooklyn ny`   (03.02.09)
because the this criminaly insane traitorous government that sent the IDF into gaza ,is actually colaborating and working for the palestinian terrorists, before going to war to eliminate the enemy, you must first eliminate the enemy within
27. #24 Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, We know
Chocko ,   NY, USA   (03.02.09)
You are the chosen people and your God will never let you fall completely.. Hang on a minute, say that again. He will let you fall but not completely.... What are you on about Dude.... Are you totally insane!!!!!
28. So many war crimes and still it didn't help
Yossi   (03.02.09)
There is an esier way - it's called "cease fire" or "truce", it includes freedom for Palestinians and that means import of Pasta as well.
29. To: Chocko
Sarah ,   New York City, USA   (03.02.09)
Haven't you forgotten twenty years of suicide bombers crossing in from Gaza? What about eight years of missile barrages into Southern Israel? By stockpiling weapons in schools, hospitals and houses of worship, Hamas turned those schools, hospitals and houses of worship into legitimate military targets. By firing upon Israeli troops from within densely-populated areas, Hamas turned those densely-populated areas into legitimate military targets, too. Would you have preferred a Dresden-type operation? Israel lost thirteen soldiers in the Gaza operation. A Dresden-type obliteration of Gaza would not have cost the life of a single Israeli soldier. And that -- for sure -- would have put an end to missiles, booby-trapped border fences, suicide bombing and tunneling. Rest assured, Chocko, that when -- that's "when," not "if" -- Israel has to go back into Gaza and clean out the vermin, it'll be done from the air.
30. To: George Hazou at No. 13
Sarah ,   New York City, USA   (03.02.09)
Two-state solution? Excuse me. Palestinians were offered a two-state solution in 1947. They preferred to go to war instead. And lost. And lost again, and again and again and again. Undaunted, the Palestinians turned to terror, to airplane hijacking, to violence on an unparalleled scale. The charters of the many different organizations purporting to be the true representatives of the Palestinian people have one thing in common: they all call for the destruction of the State of Israel and the extermination of the Jews. Some twenty years ago, the Palestinians YET AGAIN walked away from a two-state solution. Here's a news flash: sixty years have taught Palestinians nothing. The world is not in the business of fixing chronic Palestinian mistakes. The Palestinians will just have to learn to live with the consequences of their extremely poor choices. Or die with them, as they seem to prefer.
