unfortunately, it is true that the israeli government with holds permits from the palestinians living in east jerusalem. when i was building i received the permit in under 6 months, I am a businessman and i deal with all kinds of people including palestinians, and i know a lot of them that have been waiting between 10 to 15 years and still havnt gotten a permit, I too would be pissed at the system. Peace starts when both parties give a little co-operation and show tolerance between each other. lets face it we are in a big mess here, and there is no way to get rid of the arabs, i think we managed to prove that over and over again, so why not let both sides try a little for peace see where that leads us. just a thought ....
