The EU along with the palestinians and their spokesman Ehud Olmert might have decided that East Jerusalem is to be the capital of a palestinian state but Israelis have not. In the end its what Israel and Israelis want not what the EU does. When the British are ready to say we are willing to make London the capital of a palestinian state if they want it then Israel should consider dividing the capital and giving away its holy places. If the demolishing of buildings built without permits is illigal under international law why does it go on all over England. If you illigaly build an extension to your home and many other minor things which affect nobody if you built it without planning permision then there is a good chance its going to be pulled down. If its illigal property building in Israel its pulled down and its demolished then why is it legal to do the same in the UK & EU. Demolishing property built without permits goes on all over Israel its been going on in Jerusalem for decades so why haven't we heard about condemnations for pulling down property built without permits in other parts of the country or before the palestinians staked a claim to the city?

The day the EU will recognize West Jerusalem as part of Israel, I will pay attention to wat it says about East Jerusalem.
