Believe me. There are men out there that don´t like women and like men... what is your problem with that? If they were born that way it is not AGAINST their nature. If you think that one can choose to be gay... in other words, you think that someone can choose to like the same sex... then you are the one who goes against nature my friend.
32. More news like that,

more I understand Palestinians. Because it is written: that servant who knew his Lord's will and did not prepare, nor did according to His will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he not knowing, and doing things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For to whomever much is given, of him much shall be required.

you obviously aren't a medical professional so, as a poser, get the facts straight. I've known many Gays and frankly prefer their company to a bald face, trying to act like a Dr. bore and ignorant twit like you. Got meds?
35. Good to hear.
Daniel ,   San Jose, CA   (03.10.09)
It is a difficult decision, however what really comes to mind is the following. Israel by its very nature is an Israeli state, i.e. there is civil law, but that stems from foundation rooted in Torah. Now by all assumptions changes to civil law can be made in order to keep itself modern, and function within reason. An example of a non functioning religious law is any Arab country where islamic law is in place. Stonings and wife burnings have no place in the civilized world. The Arab conflict is very much an internal one. For many they are still living in the 13 th. century and without an ability to modernize it's laws they are stuck. So what we see in Israel is a continued reference to Torah / Talmud for the basis of decisions. However we are able to keep up with the times since civil laws also have precedence. Even with the religious strength within the country, we see from this example that Israel is also very progressive. Many states in the US have outlawed gay adoption which is sad. You don't have to like gays or gay marriage, but studies show that children who were raised by gay couples generally turn out to be smarter, healthier, and not gay. Yup you heard it right not gay. In fact children seem to make their own conclusions about who they will love regardless of who raises them. That having been said I think it is wonderful news that to very smart people can love and cherish their son. Every child deserves a chance and to have to caring individuals who want the best for a child makes this a real victory. Anyone can have a role in the hey and pop out a kid 9 months later, but it takes a real man, and a man in this case to make a family, and be a father or mother or some combination of both. I see more screwed up kids from non gay couples so why not allow them to adopt.

it must be a form of birth control. No one asked you to sleep w/ them or they w/ you so, what's your problem? G-d made us all, straight, gay, in between. If each mans sins were published, gays might pale in comparison. p.s clones may make your agrument moot.

...they just wanted the state to sponsor their threesomes.... thats quite pathetic of the state to grant official status to homosexual orgies...its nothing else but that...and i have nothing against gays...but threesomes are just plain wrong..
44. Congratulations to all involved
Yakov   (03.11.09)
The two men get to adopt, the boy has two people who are willing to take care of him. There's nothing wrong with a win-win situation. Israel is very progressive for doing this. No other nation in the Middle East will even come close to allowing this.
45. #29 Will Edwards- Did You Forget to Love Your Fellow Jew?
JS ,   Israel   (03.11.09)
You are commanded to love your fellow Jew. Think about what kind of abusive household situation would drive a kid to runaway and want to live with strangers-- It's unclear to me if you are upset at the adoptive parents who took in this unwanted kid, or are you upset at the kid for having an abusive birth family?
46. There is a symbolism here
Ariel Ben Yochanan ,   Kfar Tapuah   (03.11.09)
B"H Look at the photo and keep looking at it. What do you see? There is a symbolism here, the symbolism of a lie. Of a big and historic lie. Let me explain. On the one hand, everybody knows that the Torah at one point defines homosexuality an abomination and in another point punishes it with the death penalty. There is a whole section dealing with Sodom, a town Hashem, our G-d, destroys because of the immorality of its inhabitants. I could quote the exact lines of the Holy Text, but this is not my intention here, this is not a siur or a religious dissertation. On the other hand, we see three gay men posing in front of the court-house in Tel Aviv, Israel, in their joyous moment of what they call a historic victory: the gay couple, two gay men, were allowed to adopt a gay boy and now Ynet’s very own Vered Luvitch calls them “The now official Even-Kama family”. Now look at the photo again and zoom in above the left ear of the oldest looking gay man who stands on the left (on the right of the photo). You'll see the Emblem of the State of Israel of which the T.A. court is part of. The main decorative element on the emblem is the Menorah. The Menorah is a Jewish religious symbol, it is described in detail in the Torah and it used as a furnishing in the Mishkan and in the First and Second Temples until it got carried away (stolen) from the destroyed city of Jerusalem and from its destroyed Temple by the winning Roman Emperor, Titus, in 70 e.v. The fact that on Menorah-stemmed official stationary, sitting in Menorah-decorated court-rooms Israeli judges write their sentences that have nothing to do whatsoever with anything Jewish, with what the Menorah symbolizes, sentences that in many cases like this even go outright against most basic Jewish values, tradition and Torah concepts, this deception, this lie - cannot leave us indifferent. There is nothing Jewish about a homosexual couple adopting a homosexual boy in the Land of Israel and a sentence approving it makes the court issuing that sentence wholly un-Jewish and thus the State of which it is a part of, an un-Jewish State, per representation. Un-Jewish and anti-Jewish sentences cannot be written on stationary that carry Menorahs. This is nothing short of desecrating a religious symbol, an action that carries a criminal penalty in this country. These judges, sitting under the Menorahs of the court-houses of the country, by writing anti-Jewish sentences are writing the story and the history of a State that is, by their making, is not-Jewish. This is another codified crime: treason! Because of this, those who wish and pretend to live in a Jewish State, namely the non voting public, nearly 40% of Israelis, do have a case and a cause and must not be silenced. Jews have a most basic Jewish right to to live in a Jewish State! For more see www.thetorahrevolution.blogspot.com, www.jewishyisrael.org

50. Homosexuals and paedophiles
Kev ,   London   (03.11.09)
If you look at the proportion of paedophiles that were 'homosexual' to start with, it is very disproportionate to the population. Many Homosexuals become paedophiles because sexual abnormality leads to further sexual perversion. Children are more important than these selfish people that insist on gross lifestyles. It is that simple.

If homosexuality is a sin , why did god make homosexual people ? PS : it's not the Tel Aviv , but the Ramat Gan family court . If those [ 40 % ? give your references ] who don't want to live in a state for the Jews , the door is open , they can leave , we don't need most of them .

That those nearly 40 % who did'nt vote is for most of them NOT related to "non Jewish" [ religious ] State . This is a fenomen that occurs in every country where voting is not mandatory , and is certainly not related to the homosexuals .
56. comment 51 to Ariel
wl.edwards ,   dallas tx usa   (03.18.09)
Charles, I am very surprised to see such an uneducated and silly response. Do you not know your own history or is it not your history? I accidentally hit the recommendation button and I hope no one is swayed by that. I feel you have the right to choose your own lifestyle, but Ariel is absolutely right. Israel is THE ONLY Jewish state and its foundation was to finally have a homeland where Jews could live according to the ways of G-d without fear of retribution or religious pollution. Homosexuality is a grave sin according to G-d. Open acceptance of such by officiating bodies of the state of Israel is a horrifying thing. Your brothers and sisters defend and die daily to keep Israel alive as a Jewish state and your open disrespect for them by suggesting they leave because they don't agree with your , hopefully uninformed, viewpoint is shameful. Many wonderful, good, and loving people gave their lives so that Israel could exist and it is a very sad commentary to see the dream of a genuine Jewish state being diluted by such non-Jewish behavior so abhorrent in the eyes of G-d. In case I am misunderstood, Charles one of the basic tenets of Judaism is that all, regardless of belief, are children of G-d and as such should be respected. In that manner I respect even those I feel are contrary to the ways of Judaism which homosexuality clearly is.

Forgive my direct response to your statement, but you are categorically wrong...period. Most people who've never dealt with homosexuality find themselves repelled by it either initially or down the road, depending on how much interaction they have. To say that people who don't agree with homosexuality are homophobic or closet gays is so totally an attempt at spin by the propaganda arm of the gay agenda. This nonsensical argument was used in may cities in the usa and after time it was shown that giving the gays open acceptance did nothing but destroy the fabric of morality for the general populace. It greatly increased drug traffic, sexually transmitted disease, and openly wanton conduct. Colorado, for example, went full circle after legislating the most liberal gay rights laws in the nation. They have learned the lesson of letting immorality run rampant and have rescinded such actions. California, after suffering the horrible affects of open gay social activity has soundly trounced the recent attempts by the gay lobby to approve gay marriage. The only states that are moving towards acceptance of gay policy have little or no experience in dealing with it. States that do have such experience have decidedly moved in the opposite direction. These people are not homophobic or closet gay. They gave them a fair shot and discovered the truth. There really is a reason G-d condemns this behavior. It is true that not all gays behave badly or cause a ruckus, but the fact remains that the greater majority do as they have absolutely no moral conscience. This argument of yours is very tired and easily shown to be false.
