I must say I am very impressed. Although I am wary of the precedent this might set and the potential loss of freedom that might ensue-- the potential for the future denial of entry to a broad spectrum of individuals on the basis of odious or controversial opinions alone-- I am impressed that the officials in Canada found this individual odious enough to declare him intolerable, and I am incredibly pleased that they didn't fall prey to the common practice of reserving the title of "terrorist" for the members of Al Qaeda alone. It does indeed go to show that Israel can achieve recognition of its perspective and support for its aims abroad, provided those aims are clearly articulated and consistently adhered to.

You're being terribly naive if you think peace and justice will be brought about by people like George Galloway (or the terrorists of whom he appears to be so enamored). And as far as the decision by your Immigration Minister is concerned, perhaps you're unaware of the fact that Galloway recently expressed his support for the Taliban in their attacks against Canadian soldiers. Perhaps that had something to do with the decision to bar him from your country.
