1. Kamal Medhat
Sarah ,   New York City, USA   (03.23.09)
His real name is Kamal Naji, and his hands are soaked in Jewish blood. Good riddance. We've wanted to take him out for a very long time. The guardian of Israel neither sleeps nor slumbers .... Brilliant job, Mossad. Keep up the good work!

Sarah ,   New York City, USA   (03.23.09)
Why, thank you for your solicitous interest in my health. I confess that I haven't the slightest bit of interest in yours .....
9. Given that the article is from reuters
Arie ,   BaGolan   (03.23.09)
I am surprised there isn't any inference that Israel was involved.
10. "An act of terrorism"
Arie ,   BaGolan   (03.23.09)
Quoting abbas and arafat in their previous statements:"There is no such thing as terrorism. Only individuals fighting for their just rights." Kamal was responsible for many acts of mass murder, not just against Jews but against fellow muslims and christians as well. Perhaps the virgins were getting bored and wanted him home?
11. PLO Head killed
jeremy ,   hula valley kibbutz   (03.23.09)
To quote the musical group Queen, " Another one bits the dust," Music sweet music, doesn't matter who took him out, as long as PLO members continue to D...
12. WHAT A SHAME
zionist forever   (03.23.09)
Now there is one less PLO man in the world ... things are looking up.
13. Kamal Medhat
Eppy ,   Pago Pago USA   (03.23.09)
How do we know that Mossad did it? The guy was Fatah. Hamas hates Fatah so why couldn't the Hamas gangsters have knocked off the Fatah gangsters?
14. 13
zionist forever   (03.23.09)
Does it matter who was the kind soul who was kind enough to make the world a safer place by killing this PLO top man. Be thankful he is dead and won't be making anymore trouble for anybody. Its good news so smile.
15. "compete for influence". Savages all, against their OWN
Global Citizen ,   Israel & USA   (03.23.09)
Tell me, bleeding heart leftists and Islamic propagandists, when was the last time western goverments acted this way? Even those in competition? Bite me.
16. 12 refugee camps
Jim Brown ,   TN USA   (03.23.09)
Why have they held these people in refugee camps for all these years? Why haven't they been assimilated into the community? Do you think it might be so they can use them for propaganda purposes?
17. To: Eppy at No. 13
Sarah ,   New York City, USA   (03.23.09)
This was precision work. Hamas can't hit the broad side of a barn, let alone engineer an operation with the meticulous timing that this one required. Neither could Hizbollah. Neither could the Syrians. Neither could the Lebanese. Who does that leave?
18. For what it's worth, Hakim (#4):
Robert Haymond ,   Ashdod, Israel   (03.23.09)
I am an inveterate reader of YNet and also read and contribute to the Talkbacks. Sarah's comments are normally thoughtful and articulate and I appreciate her input even when I find myself in disagreement with her, i.e., it's really questionable whether the assassination was Mossad caused or inspired although it's an interesting theory and certainly a possibility. But if all you want is to view predictable, kneejerk comments by people who really appear to have nothing else to spend time on, Hakim, go to Haaretz and read the "Natallie Dursons", Clickfool, Swiss Dino and BBS News, etc. Haaretz encourages antisemites in their Talkbacks, by the way, just as it encourages them amongst their paid journalists, i.e., Amira Haas, Gideon Levy and occasionally others. As for YNet and Sarah, if you disagree with her, it would be better not to personalize it. Helping educate us all by clarifying your differences with direct discussion about the issues at hand would be appreciated. Hope this will be viewed in a positive manner. Thanks (in advance).
19. }WE STRONGLY CONDEMN, the anti terror weapon
jean   (03.23.09)
Great news; "domage" it cannot be sustained at the same level, every day, for at least 10 years. It would have cleaned-up the backlog of mecreants for at least 2 - 3 generations. One response to these "common events" does keep puzzling me <,,WE STRONGLY CONDEMN ,,> Today, these 3 words were uttered by a pro, Mahmoud Abbas. Past tenors of this high note, came from the US, UK, France, Algiers, Egypt, and most of the balance of the 200 or so countries. I am baffled by these 3 words; their meaning, their accomplishments, their goal. It has not stopped killings, terror, kidnapping, or any other modern events of the 21 st. century. Except making fools of those who think otherwise.
