1. if it's smuggling, then why in a convoy way?
observer   (03.27.09)

The Sudanese Minister for highways-according to your article confirmed two attacks. one on land and another a ship sinking. These Sudanese have a very good highway system that contains both trucks and ships. Did the trucks sink too?
4. Iran, Syria, and the Sudan, next, IRAN!

Go IDF go!!!! Who needs the USA?
5. #1 Observer no military genius, you.

Where else can Israel strike trucks filled w/ arms intended for Gaza? In an aquarium? The message is clear, try and stay on point.

conducted by its "Aid Committee" is highly suspicious, as pretty much every other single activity it does in Africa. Fairly precise and pro-active air manouvre though. I am impressed. The aircraft probably kept to the middle of the Gulf of Aqaba turning left at the Red Sea and flew offshore until it reached Sudan.
7. its starting to sound like the US did it
zionist forever   (03.27.09)
The Sudanese said a major power did it Israel or the US but probably the US because they control the airspace in that region. Now the US come straight out and saus Israel did it. They don't want to be seen as abusing the power they have by bombing convoys but Israel is the bad guy and first suspect anyway so pin the blame onto Israel and say don't deney so we say ok boss. Say nothing and let the world point fingers and the UN General Assembly pass another resolution condeming Israel.
8. If it has taken 2 months for this to come out
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (03.27.09)
Sounds like the entire event has been invented to divert attention from their indicted president. The old shell game "Blame the Jooos" for a diversionary tactic.
9. its not smuggling; Egypt is supplying
Y ,   Nitzan   (03.27.09)
17 truck convoy full of weapons for Gaza - this should put to rest use of the word "smuggle". Obviously, Egypt is very much a part of the SUPPLYING of massive quantities of weapons to Gazan arabs in their proxy war against Israel. Time to call Egypt to task as an enemy of Israel. Time to call the Israeli media to task for using the word "smuggle" which implies Egypt is an innocent bystander.
10. attack was caried out by suicide pidgeons
zionist forever   (03.27.09)
Maybe the convoy was attcked by one of Israels suicide pidgeons and the information about the convoy gathered by one of Israels spy squirals which have been making so much trouble in Iran.
11. Hamas is absolutely ridiculous
Rob ,   Toronto, Canada   (03.28.09)
"Salah al-Bardawil told the Quds Faras news agency that these were false reports meant to justify an attack on Sudan." Wait a minute Salah, if these are 'false reports', why would Israel still carry out a random, overt attack on Sudan? Why would Israel even go to the effort of wasting a single bomb in Sudan if there wasn't a good reason for it? Oh that's right Salah, because Hamas ISN'T receiving illegal armaments from Iran, and in fact never was! No, in fact, Israel just bombs random countries, like Syria in 2007, and Lebanon in 2006, because it likes to piss off its neighbours. Not because Israel has legitimate existential enemies that are actively pursuing advanced weaponry to be utilized against Israel. Hamas and its representatives are completely and utterly pathetic. They can't even formulate a semi-plausible remark for the international media, and instead resort to idiotic claims about Israel. 'False reports', give me a break. How about another full-out frontal assault against Hamas, later this year perhaps? Maybe this time Israel won't waste their time sending out text messages warning Hamas of the ensuing bombardment. No: this time, Israel will do what it should have a few months ago: kill all of their enemies, once and for all.
