Israel has sufficient ability against the long range missiles but is helpless against the short range missiles fired from North and South. The missiles from the North were not a strategic threat until Israel retreated from South Lebanon. The missiles from the South were not a strategic threat until Israel retreated from Gaza. Yes,we need short to med range missle defense.But, we aslo need short to medium range missle OFFENSE! The enemy must know that in addition to the IAF, they will gets thousands of missle strikes in retaliation for missles fired at Israel.

If Israel is going to depend on manufactures to impliment new weapon systems it must be Israeli manufactures because the country will get little support from American companies with the Muslim Obama as president. Also Israel must not go to war unless it is intent on fighting until a clear victory is achieved. No more Labanons or Gazas. Israel must, with PR and Facts educate the world's democratic states that it cannot and does not have the luxury to wait for its 9/11. It cannot allow a Palestinian state. Netanyahu has the answer.
