There is no such place as Palestine. Palestine that was a Roman name given to the kingdoms of Judea & Israel after the revolts centuries before arabs or islam even existed. Since the end of the Roman empire it was part of other empires the last being the British but there has never been an arab state of Palestine. The saudi plan is not the road to peace its a suicide note for Israel. We loose all the territory gained in 1967 will put security at risk. I would also kill the economy because of the huge costs involved and I doubt the Saudis will be paying the bills. Arabs in Yaffo will be affected just the same as jews in Tel Aviv. Dividing Jerusalem especialy any deal that involved giving away the Old City would take Israel close to civil war between the anti division & the secular left who dont give a dam. So called right of return would destroy the demographic balance. Millions of palestinians + the arabs living in Israel overnight their numbers would come very close to the jewish population. Over the next one - two generations arabs will outnumber jews and there are olim who moved to Israel from places like the US for ideal of wanting to live in a jewish state. Once Israel isn't a jewish state anymore they will move back to America and the good life. Potential future olim won't be wanting to move to Israel because it will be an arab majority state. We will find ourselves with the arab population growing and the jewish one shrinking. Peres is going to die in office & the sooner the better for Israels political & security interests. Barak isn't the PM and if he became a problem Netanyahu still has enough seats to ditch him. Olmert is on his way to jail his days in poltics are over Livni isn't PM and if Netanyahu handles things right he can destroy Livni & Kadima.
