...was pretty brutal.
Kinneret/Tiberias, Kaysariah, Arce, and Eilat are my favorites.

the skeletons and hair plaits there were not Jewish. The Mikvah was typical Roman bath. Maybe the absence of Jewish signs makes all the fuss.

I didn't try the snake path...cable car was good for me...
I was totally awestruck by Masada..one of the highlights of my life..never forget it!

4. Fascinating place to visit
The history of Masada symbolizes great courage for the Jewish people. I've been there twice. Once in the winter when few tourists were present. The view of the Dead Sea and surrounding area is just incredible.

massada complex is king herods refuge (the king of judea) incase of a revolt. massada was converted to suit those that inhabited it during the first revolt against the romans.
28 skeletal remains were found
and a large synagogue with many sctolls from deuteronomy, ezekiel, genesis...
i remember there's more, but this i briefly read in wikipedia.
so many people including myself have actually visited massada, it seems rediculous you write to jews and israelis what it is. it's kinda like i write arabs about what they can find in mecca or medina.
you have a nerve
the enlightened world has skipped on your resources, & ynet personnel shouldn't show every stupid post they know is untrue for a fact, since i am sure they have been there too.

if you ever go to Israel, don't miss the dead sea and Masada. even if you visit tel-aviv distinct at the beginning, save some time to visit the south.
