1. AN EXPECTED STATEMENT FROM USA
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (04.20.09)
No one expected a praise for President Mahmoud Ahmednejad's speech in Geneva. However, the same type of truthfulness would not have come forth had it not been from Iran. The rest of the Muslim world have to open their eyes to know to which level had they fallen all these years.Awakening is the point President Ahmednejad wanted to make. And he succeeded in doing so.That is why USA has ensured combing the statement to state that it still sought direct diplomacy with Iran. The personalities understand Iran's position as well.
2. President Ahmadinejad...
Sean ,   Montreal, Quebec   (04.20.09)
..delivered a most undiplomatic speech. He didn't state anything that I read to be overtly false. He repeats a claim, and legitimately so, that the inhabitants of Palestine have been made to suffer as a direct result of European racism. Religious intolerance would be more appropriate. He claims that Zionists use religion to mask hatred. A claim no doubt history will acknowledge. Iran would have been better served to have sent a diplomat and Western powers missed an opportunity to discuss the plight of those who choose to convert from Islam in Moslem controlled nations. What President Ahmadinejad sadly seems to miss is that any nation based on religion causes great suffering to those who do not abide by the majority. While he points the finger at Israel he overlooks his own country.

"However, the same type of truthfulness would not have come forth had it not been from Iran." Therein the problem. Not a single word he said was true. Now you can all have your third-world circle jerk together and entertain yourself to your heart's content. The countries that matter aren't coming to your party. Ever.
4. #1 - When the worst racist of all attacks others and
meir elazar   (04.21.09)
supports World Wide Terrorism. The best part of the Monkey's speech is the enormous reaction of all the countries and people. In the Islamic dictatorship of Iran no one would dare challenge the chimpanzee's diatribes. The last time, the orangatang could not comprehend the reaction to his UN diatribe. He continues to thumb his lower order primate (if he is a primate) at the world and get away with it. Hopefully the reaction and denunciation of all the responsible countries will be loud and send a clear message. On the other hand Iran is a clear major supporter of worldwide terror trying to enlarge its sphere of control to Lebanon (Hezbollah) and Gaza (Hamas) by supporing these murderous terrorist organizations. Hopefully, the response of the rightist govt. to Hamas missiles and terror will totally eclipse that of the Kadima clowns in Operation Cast Lead Encore. Next time it will not stop until the mission is achieved and Hamas is eradicated. This too will be a strong message to the Baboon. Hopefully the world will take military offensive action against Iran's nuclear facilities before nuclear weapons in the hands gorillas threaten Israel and other countries.

What are you doing on Ynet? Shouldn't you be on Al-jazeera or at a rally burning Israeli and American flags or something.

"He repeats a claim, and legitimately so, that the inhabitants of Palestine have been made to suffer as a direct result of European racism." That would be the Jewish people to whose suffering you refer. Jews certainly have suffered as a direct result of European racism. The Palestinians' suffering came about because of their rejection (twice) of a two-state solution, the six wars they commenced and sixty years of unrelenting terror. "He claims that Zionists use religion to mask hatred. A claim no doubt history will acknowledge." Zionism is the movement to establish a Jewish homeland in the ancient and traditional Jewish homeland. Palestinians, on the other hand, came for the most part from the Balkans. They created problems there for the Ottoman Turks, and the Ottoman Turks moved them to the most dreary and dismal backwater of the Ottoman Empire: Palestine. Remember that, please. Palestine -- as Mark Twain put it -- "sits in sackcloth and ashes." It was lovingly restored by Jewish hands. We aren't interested in sharing it with interlopers.
10. Why is this guy vile?
Jerrold Cohen ,   Seal Beach, USA   (04.21.09)
The only thing I see wrong with his rhetoric is his denial of the Holocaust. Other than that I can't find anything wrong with what he says. After seven years of reading the Israeli and Palestinian media daily, I see that what he says is echoed in actual events I have read hundreds of times. Let's thank the man and use his remarks as a guide to clean up Israeli racism.

Looks like he has risen to a new level of leadership over his last exhortation. Every "speech" this outcast gives not only embarasses the Iranian people, but pushes them economically, socially and politically into an abyss.

It was not the suffering of the Jews that I was referring to. Have you been in America so long that you are developing a Walt Disney view of reality? President Ahmadinejad mentioned in his speech the oppression suffered by the Jews at the hands of Europeans ( contrary to popular propaganda that he denies the Holocaust). Kindly don't take my words regarding the pain and suffering of the Palestinians and appropriate the suffering for the exclusive domain of people who share your ideology. Perhaps from your throne in New York you are too far removed to realize that people other than the Jews suffer. Your nebulous logic in raising Mark Twain and the Ottomans does not change the simple fact that there are millions of people inhabiting Palestine under a repressive religious regime which imprisons and murders them and refuses them the right to vote. I recall from your earler libelous statements regarding Justice Thomas that the truth is not your ally at present. The lady in New York refers to the indigenous population of Palestine as "interlopers". We should all say a prayer in the hopes she may be enlightened!

Well, try this: Ahmedinejad is vile because he continually advocates for the eradication of the "Zionist entity" and the extermination of the Jewish people. That's pretty vile, don't you think? Oh: here's a clue: don't believe everything you read, numnuts.

In the end of time, all nations will bow down to Israel. Any nations that makes war with the Holy Land will eventually disappear. Read the holy text, all coming true.

Get a grip. You are seriously deluded. Palestinians had numerous bites at the apple. They have twice rejected a two-state solution, they lost six wars and they have imposed terrorism on the world an unparalled scale. No more. The world will NOT reward them. Sometimes, dear, you have to live with the bad consequences of your choices. The Palestinian choices have been ruinous. How is that the fault of Israel?

Just a brief display of solidarity in walking out together, but when it comes to the business, please do keep a count of those countries who would be more than willing to carry on with Iran as usual. Well Sarah, when it comes to lies and truth,I have a better statistics of knowing how truthful Ahmednejad was.

Despicable. All those representatives that didnt walk out on Ahmadinejad at the UN - shame on you! You gave this insanity validity and let the consequences of your impunity be etched in your consciousness.

you don't have much grey ereas, not everything is black and white truth and lie, you believe ahmadinajad? he as a politician will always tell you what you want to hear, it's not a golden truth, just his efforts to influence neive people like.
23. Concerning human rights:
Red Temple ,   White Mtns.   (04.21.09)
Ahmadinejad along with the regime’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, are the most outstanding symbols of racism in the world. They have committed crimes against ethnic minorities, women, and different races in Iran and orders their suppression and execution. Ashraf city layed under siege while he was on an international podium as guest speaker over human rights. ? !!!! His participation at the conference as guest speaker was a gross mis-judgement call of the UN; and we warned you. Khamenei and his president are on the top of the list of those who should be tried for war crimes! Crimes against humanity as well as suppression and discrimination against minorities. The clerical regime with its president are the biggest enemy of peace and tranquility in the region and world over for terrorist meddling in the ME on one hand and efforts to acquire nuclear weapons on the other. It should never be allowed to exploit international conferences as a platform to press forward its ominous policies ever again!

Better statistics? Where from? Al Jazeera? Iran Weekly Press Digest? Oh yeah. Better. Surely you yourself do not even believe that. As to the countries willing to carry on with Iran -- mmm, let's see. We have Mali. Sierra Leone. The Congo. Mauritania. Indonesia. Sudan. Well, aren't these economic powerhouses with stable, secure governments!! Good luck. Maybe all those countries can form their own G7. That's Iran's support. Doesn't say much, now, does it?
25. To: Mahmood
Sarah ,   New York City, USA   (04.21.09)
Is the merciless, ruthless, vicious racist persecution of the Bahai in Iran on the agenda at the Conference? I'm betting it isn't. Shouldn't it be? What does that tell you about the validity of Durban II? What about the racist persecution of the Kurdish people? Is that on the agenda? And you wonder why the civilized world cannot quite manage to take this conference seriously!
