1. "I'm ashamed of my president"
Dr. Arved Meyer ,   Zurich, Switzerland   (04.21.09)
I wish to thank you for publishing excerpts of the letter of Mr Bussy, and I wish to thank him for his letter. As a Swiss and real friend of Israel since a long time I support everything that you cite of the letter. I am ashamed and very angry of my president that he met and was friendly to Mr. A. and angry and ashamed of the Swiss delegation in Geneva that listened to the ugly spech of Mr. A. I wish to apologize to Israel and all Jews for this behavior of Swiss representatives. I am sure that G_d will protect Israel as He did in the times of Esther. You have a lot of real friends in Switzerland! G_d bless you, Israel! Shalom u Wracha! Arved Meyer

5. let's talk here about "neutrality"
(04.21.09)
the word, in its webster dictionary meaning means "not being involved and not taking a position either pro or con". considering the above application of meaning to the word neutrality, it follows that by not taking a stand, adhering to an opinion, this swiss president should have indeed remained neutral, avoided meeting with ahmadinejad and stayed away from the controversy in general. now, this action, would have adhered 100% to the definition of the term in question. however, how can one profess to maintain neutrality and remain neutral if one actually singles this iranian nazi for a private meeting, no matter what they had to discuss or not. by this president meeting this holocaust denier and warmomnger terrorist, he himself gave this despicable man a platform, his ears, his attention, etc... i didn't observe the swiss president wanting to meet other heads of state or delegates during and prior to this absurd durban 2 conference. the fact that switzerland maintains it has always "neutrally" been a go between the israelis and their enemies is not enough because falling on this excuse is false. the swiss president could have had a phone conversation, not a dinner in public, with the moron from tehran. to his shame, he didn't even hide his intentions to meet with this lunatic and made the meeting public as well. this in itself was a slap not only to israel, but to those 6 million whp perished at swiss and other european, american and english "neutrality" during the holocaust. this stance on neutrality was abused by the swiss during the holocaust when they forbade jews to find shelter in switzerland and insisted on putting a "J" for jew on their passports....god forbid the swiss can't identify the "enemy" that enters their "neutral" country, yet, they found it also "neutral" to steal and hoard all the nazi money in their banks and profit immensly from the destruction of the jews by aquiring their art treasures and monies for insurance these victims NEVER GOT BACK FROM SWISS BANKS. yes, EVEN A MUSLIM LEBANESE SUCH AS MYSELF, that is educated and well read, in complete contradiction to many many arabs who have no clue about this historical event, i can say emphatically, that switzerland is not a changed country and IS VERY VERY VERY FAR FROM NEUTRAL. for them this word is a cover up for stealing, supporting nazism for economic gains and betraying the very essence of the word. shame!

11. I live in Switzerland
Esteban ,   Argentina Suiza   (04.21.09)
I'm originally from Argentina, but live and work in Switzerland. Swiss people have virtually no idea what is going on in this world. They see poor miserable people (like the palis) and they fall in love with them immediately without posing themselves any questions. Recently when the Anti-defamation League posted a protest against the Swiss Gas deal made with Iran that will bring billions to the mullahs, they reacted offended supporting the deal. So that gives an idea of what kind of people they are.
12. A breath of fresh air

18. like all evil people, the Swiss president hides behind lofty

ideals
19. Mr. Bussy and friends;
Robert Haymond ,   Ashdod, Israel   (04.22.09)
Thank you for your public (and courageous) acknowledgement of the wrongheadedness of the Swiss government. We Jews, here in Israel, sometimes feel very isolated and certainly misunderstood by the international community. We're simply not the Jews of pre-1941 Europe. We will survive even if we have to go it alone but it is helpful to know that there are level-headed people with integrity like you (and friends) who will also speak out on our behalf and on behalf of simple justice as well.
20. Bussy's letter. Christians support Israel
Ch. & Ra. Takushi ,   Zurich, Switzerland   (04.22.09)
There are many bible-believing Christians in Switzerland that know G-d's promises to Israel incl. the land. It is sad that on the memorial day for the Holocaust our govt offers a platform to the president of a totalitarian regime that seeks Israel's destruction by all means. I don't even think all Iranians think that way. We, Christians in Switzerland, may have also failed: we need to pray more for G-d's wisdom for our leaders. Israel should know that our government is not run by one powerful person; power is shared by several leaders and parties; there are God-fearing politicians. We sense all over the world true followers of Jesus are going back to the Word of G-d and discovering the Jewish roots of their faith. They comfort and pray for Israel as G-d commands us in the bible (explicitly stated in Saul's letter to the Romans); not in a romantic but biblical way
