1. God Bless Mr.Wiesel
Rachel   (04.21.09)
For taking the high road, and not allowing these evil people to provoke him into a reaction, which would have certainly been well deserved. These people who verbally assaulted Mr.Wiesel have shown their true colors, and show no humanity or decency in the hatred for this elderly Holocaust survivor who has done more good in his lifetime than most people could ever hope to accomplish. The people who attacked Mr.Wiesel are the real modern day Nazis.

What more needs to be said? what can you say about this? These people are undeniably sick... Not that the world is necessarily better off with others having atomic weapons. But these people, these guys have proven they are not fit to control a nuclear arsenal. God help us all if they do. They are nuts.

I really feel for this man, all he went through and now on the day that Jews and others around the world remember, he needs to deal with this same ignorance and intolerance. The iranian delegate needs to have a number printed on his arm.

Anti Racist ,   Zurich   (04.22.09)
Coming from a country that persecutes Bahais, women, Kurds, gays and Arabs it is really astonishing.

18. what's the difference?
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (04.22.09)
Before condemning the Iranian diplomat, you should ask where did he learn this language? Is there a difference between the Iranian and Israeli professors Pappo, Zimmerman, Sternell and Leibowitz, not to mention others? They used the same or worse language.
19. Iran is trying so hard
gsea   (04.22.09)

21. To: No. 18
Sarah ,   New York City, USA   (04.22.09)
Oh, there's a huge difference. Pappo, Zimmerman, Sternell and Leibowitz are not Holocaust survivors. Elie Wiesel is. I strongly suggest you read his book "Night." Possibly among the most eloquent books about the Holocaust ever written. RIght up there with "The Diary of Anne Frank."
22. STRANGE STANDARDS
DAVID ,   JUDEA   (04.22.09)
Living here and reading how Ynet and other Israeli news outlets report a constant barrage of negativity against the IDF, the religious and others not sharing their Hedonistic views, there is some responsibility in this kind of outrageous Iranian behavior. One can not crap constantly in ones own yard and not expect a backlash from some were else, that is why it is called a global village.
23. #20-the ticking sound is quite stimulating
Ypip ,   Canada   (04.22.09)
24. Sarah New York City USA I,too, was perplexed by the posts of Ypip of Canada, but
Shaul ,   Sheboygan   (04.22.09)
Here is a possible explanation: There is a woman, Laura K. Miller, who knits & knits & knits & has a blog 'knittingwithlaura'. And since she always has her hands full, she listens to Audio Books while knitting & she recomends good Audio Books on her blog. Guess what? Elie Wiesel's NIGHT meets with her approval.
