1. sure evrey one wants 2 states
cause after establishing the palestinian stat all the Israel arabs can move there, bye bye
|
|
2. Where was your sample taken o the ISraeli side?
Obviously this is not a survery that was done accuratly.
One must understand the complexities of ISraeli society to perform an accurate survey.
For instance Bnei Brak and Tel Aviv are not very far from each other, I am sure any survey will not have similar results.

3. Why give voice to this Roman Catholic propaganda?
"The survey was ordered by the OneVoice movement and conducted by Colin Irwin of the Institute of Irish Studies at the University of Liverpool together with Dr. Mina Tzemach and Dr. Nader Said of the AWRAD research center in Ramallah." You must be crazy.

6. UNBELIEVABLE SURVEY
Luckily many people do know Ynet's shameless biased reporting off its own agenda, in dismantling the land of Israel, in order to join, the new "world order". The fact that they can put on a headline like this with this kind of untruths, shows their increasing arrogance as a so-called news outlet. If Ynet thinks that a survey done from the UK, has any real value, then obviously, they are really out of touch with the reality. What survey will they publish next ? Maybe one done in Iran on our right to exist as a nation, that outcome would be a real surprise wouldn't it.
It is a pity that Ynet refuses to show some responsibility towards the contents of their articles. Why not be honest and just shuff your world view down our throats like you always do instead of hiding behind some lame survey. Or at least show some creativity and come up with something new, instead of another yet dumb survey

7. Flawed study
This is not in any way a scientific study. To do a survey of this topic one needs to have a stratified random sample of all sections of Israeli and Arabic society. One also needs a much bigger sample. I have absolutely no doubt that the statistics presented in this study are garbage.

8. the elections were the real survey, besides, look at what
the palestinians want : 95% thinks it is essential to have all or part of jerusalem. maybe we should thank them they want 2 states? this is not serious.
since they don't know what they are going to compramise on yet, there is no partner for peace.

Do you want ending your life in islamic Britain ????

12. To number 8
Forgive my ingorance but wouldnt the compromise be Israel being a state? Last i checked your lot came in and took more than half of palestine. So you having there half seems like enough compromise to me. Im surprised they will even let you stay there but i guess after 60 + yrs of occupation i would want anything except more occupation. You ppl have no idea your in the wrong then you complain when ppl give in to your sick demands. (ps i dont care about any of your stupid arguements for israel ive looked at the topic from an objective percpective and in my rational and humble opinion israel has no right to exist on palestine) Also im not anti semetic, arab, muslim or whatever you think i am. Peace.

14. Pals want BOTH 2 states AND 5 million refugees into Israel
Palestinians know there is an incompatibility between having a 2 state solution and an unlimited return of refugees into Israel but they don't care. They want BOTH. Palestinian leaders are afraid to argue otherwise for fear of being shot and probably because they agree.Talks on other issues seem solely based on Palestinians waiting for Israel to offer more and more. That is why the term "reciprocity" has taken a greater hold among Jews.

15. fake
Previous commentors to this effect are correct: This study clearly used a very limited section of Israeli society for its sampling. Try going somewhere besides TA for your polling: including Jews living legitimately, as they do, all over the Land. There is more to Israeli public opinion besides the left wing.

17. more on lefty polls
By the way, the American Jewish lefty group J Street, an equivalent of OneVoice, published a poll about a month ago finding that American Jews were all J Street-style doves. The ADL just published a poll the other day with very different results, finding American Jews to tend a lot more toward the center.

What nonsense!
The left is still trying cheap trickery instead of facing harsh reality.
Notice the timing of these "polls"? fishy and transparent.
We, the real people of Israel, are not biting the hook. The worm make look juicy from afar, but close up, it's really a sneaky snake.

19. #12 then jews would compramise on half what the arabs have?
ARABS HAVE 22 ARAB COUNTRIES, SHOULD JEWS ASK FOR 11 OF THEM?
PALESTINE WAS NOT A STATE BEFORE ISRAEL, the area was called palestine only in the 20th century. before then, 400 years ottoman didn't know about palestine, since the area had a completely different regional division. besides, ARABS OF PALESTINE DIDN'T OWN OTTOMAN EMPIRE LAND.
AND NO, JEWS DIDN'T COME IN RECENTLY, THEY LIVED IN PALESTINE FOR CENTURIES, EVEN THOUGH THE MAJORITY JOINED THEM IN 19TH & 20TH CENTURY
BUT ALSO HALF A MILLION ARABS IMMIGRATED FROM ARAB COUNTRIES IN 20TH CENTURY TO PALESTINE, AND THAT IMMIGRATION DOUBLED THE ARAB POPULATION THAT WAS PRESENT IN 19TH CENTURY (400,000 MOSLEMS IN 1880)
original palestine included jordan too, why won't jews start making claims on jordan? after all judean kingdom and ancient israel were in jordan also. so why?
because it was decided that the remaining area , after jordan was designated for arabs, would be a homeland to the jews.
that is all of palestine as you know it.
it is getting smaller all the time, and you are missinformed.

20. I said it once, will say it again...
The 2-state solution (based on 1967 lines with a fair revision and equal exchange of territories) is a plausible one however constantly torpedoed by Israel. This solution will come at a VERY heavy price:
For Palestinians: Accepting that the vast majority of refugees will return or at least have the option of returning to the West Bank / Gaza. Israel will have to take a symbolic number of Palestinians under a family reunion program or for humanitarian reasons (this symbolic number will be subject to negotiations). Also, the Palestinian capital will be East Jerusalem with a pledge to grant Jews unfettered access to places of worship. Optionally the entire city can come under regional administration with UNESCO/UN observers. A common theme for a successful co-existence program is spiritual tourism and tapping the huge potentials therein.
For Israelis: Evacuating tens of thousands of settlers who are dotting the West Bank East of the revised '67 lines. Some of the infrastructure can be used by incoming refugees, integrating them into totally new cities funded by Arab countries and the Quartet.
Israelis must also accept that without Jerusalem there's no deal.
Both Israel and the Arab countries will contribute to a compensation fund for those refugees (both Arab and Jewish) who fled their homes or were forced to leave in the context of events leading up to 1948.
Make a compromise now or accept 1-state solution (Palestine) with an Arab majority soon.

21. Doesn't matter
B"H
It doesn't matter what people want or say. What matters is what Hashem wants and He gave Eretz Israel to to Jews. It is therefore the Jews' religious duty and responsability to maintain possession of this Holy Land.

23. Jews want acceptable compromise+not just with handful of Pal
Jews want an acceptable compromise as it relates to their security, demography and religious places. It's not acceptable that the agreement will be with a handful of Palestinians while the rest of the Palestinians are shooting at them. Take note that it is Israel controlling the territory not the Palestinians and it will not have a one state or 2 state solution dictated to it. Nor will it be dictated as to what an acceptable compromise is. For an agreement the Palestinians will need a united front and a mutually acceptable compromise.

26. #21Biblical borders understood but not agreed by majority
I understand those Jews who want to have the biblical borders. I know they feel very deeply about it. The reality is that given the many Palestinians on the territory and preferring not to be forever at war most Jews would take an ACCEPTABLE compromise. The small chances of getting an acceptable compromise means you may well get your way.

29. David #6: What if it is true?
This survey was reported on another major Israel news site today. What if it is true? What if the majority of our fellow Jews are willing to establish a Muslim-terror state in Judea, Samaria and Gaza?
How many times in the book of Exodus did the Israelites want to return to Egypt and long for the fleshpots of Egypt? Why do you say this is nonsense when polls have consistently shown a willingness on the part of Jews to give our land to our enemies?
