32. #18 Khalid in Gaza
Oren ,   Raanana   (05.03.09)
Oh Khalid Do you realize you are living in Jewish land taken by force by your ancestors. Gaza was built by Jews. Now there is no Jew in Gaza. It is your state, your own country and look at what you have done to it. And you talk about racism? Why do you continue to demand handouts. You want Israel to supply you with food, oil, electricity. But why should we? It is no longer our country. Deal with your own backyard.
33. The only real solution ...
Kranky One ,   USA   (05.03.09)
... is to give the 'Palestinians' Jordanian, Egyptian, or Syrian citizenship, offer to buy them out of their existing homes if they move to one of those nations. There is no possibility that a peaceful 'Palestinian' partner will ever emerge. The left is deluded by little more than wishful thinking. There is no 'Palestinian' Gandhi, there never will be. Their culture does not reward peaceful acts nor peaceful thinking. If such a mythical figure were to ever emerge, this would be pure wish fulfillment by the left, and Israel would have peace. But it is a fantasy, it cannot happen, it will not happen. Only the most perversely deluded, the willfully naive, believe otherwise. So you have to act based upon reality. Current cold peace with Egypt and Jordan will not get better. Arab pride has been wounded, and they will not recover. So stop wasting your time trying to make them like you. They never will. While the UN is largely useless, and definitely a tool of the anti-Israel and anti-Jewish forces in the world, we can leverage it for our benefit. First, demand this plan, politically repatriating arabs with their homelands in Syria, Jordan, and Egypt commence forthwith. Second, formally annex Samaria and Judea. Third, offer any of the newly minted Egyptian, Syrian, or Jordanian citizens a fair settlement for departing the state of Israel, and giving up all claim to land there. The ones that stay are subject to Israeli law, and if they violate it, are subject to immediate permanent expulsion. The 'refugees' in 'camps' in the arab countries are to be placed under the UN high commissioner for refugees. The goal is to correctly repatriate these arabs into the countries they are residing in. They have been Egyptian, Jordanian, and Syrian citizens in the past, before migrating to Israel. Repatriate them with their home countries. Compel the arab states to do this. This solves the border issues, the 'refugee' issue, and make the 'Palestinian' leadership redundant. They are already useless, its time to make sure they are also not perceived as needed. The point being that peaceful arabs, not crazy jihadis, are welcome to stay and be productive members of Israeli society. Non productive and violent arabs, and we have a sense of what fraction of arabs these are, will be invited to leave, and if they don't, they would be forcibly expelled to their real country of origins. Arab countries and UNRWA have to be held accountable for continuing this conflict 60 years longer than it should have been. Time to use the ICC and other UN mechanisms against them.
