And that is: WHERE are the limits between legal criticism of Israel and antisemitic attacks? For example, how will the statement about "Israel oppressing Palestinians" be proclaimed as antisemitism, when there are overwhelming number of statistics - and even articles in many Jewish newspapers! - that shows discrimination? There is also one thing that Jews did not solve out: what about people who abuse their Judaism? Like, rich people who commit vile acts and then run for "Jews-protected" shelter, wearing masks of teshuva? One case that comes to my mind is Semyon Mogiljevich that took shelter in Israel as a big Jew - and when the storm was over, he went back! - although he gathered initial capital for being crime lord by selling Russian Jews' apartments without sending them the money! Next, anyone who adheres to an ideology so strongly that it ignores reality and basic human sensibilities is a bad thing - whether extremely right or overly-left.

I think the wide swath of America's left leaning Jews want riskless Judaism, and are shamelessly abandoning their cultural homeland's defense to varying degrees.
