Then of course there is all of the land owned by the Roman Catholic Church outright. Most of that land is leased back to Israel too! What are we getting all excited about? Giving these sites to the Vatican, even if they are holy to Christians, would be a kick in the teeth to Greek Orthodox, Armenia Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Coptics, Protestants, and Ethiopian Christians - which collectively outnumber Catholics. Unlike Muslim lands, Christians have never had access denied to them or been blocked from worshiping, within the Land of Israel. Infact, one incident where Israel fought for Christians was the Church of the Annunciation where Christians in Nazareth planned to build a Plaza but area Muslims wanted to claim it for themselves and began an effort to change facts on the ground there with bulldozers citing it as the tomb of some obscure sheik. Netanyahu stepped in, blocked it, and returned it to the Christians, and providing security until the plaza was built. I am not Jewish nor Israeli. However, I am a Christian and, though I doubt that our presense will stop visits to the Wall, nor harm Jews, I can honestly say I do not like this one bit. What gives the Vatican the right to own these properties? Catholics are not the only Christians in the world who consider these places holy.
