Once you have accepted Jesus as the Messiah, you are not at all a part of Judaism by the very definition. If he really did exist, he was just a man with different ideal, but the very concept of Jesus as the Messiah goes against everything that Torah Judaism is about. If Jesus were to come back today, he would be looking for a synagogue to pray in, not a church and he certainly would not be a part of Christianity or even believe what Christians believe in....

The belief that God could have a physical son goes against every view Judaism has towards God. Christianity in itself has distorted the legacy of Jesus of Nazareth so brutally and viciously that the most devout of this religion has absolutely no clue of it's real birth and conception: One based on hate, blame, death, crusades, forced conversions, and hypocrisy. Only people who follow the "New Testament" without any clue would believe that the people who follow the old testament were fake Jews and they are the real ones. If there's no persecution, and Jews want to become Israeli citizens, then the most stringent law should apply for their acceptance. after reading the the articles. i notice we Jews invoke a theological debate. When i consider the more pragmatic...History has simply has shown the discrimation, persecution, and the countless acts of babarism from Christians to Jewish people. Even to this day Jewish people feel harassed and even discrimanted in the US, England , Canada, and many other nations that are considered "Christian". Why should we, Israelis even tempt such a can of worms? Bill Staar wrote, "People who accept Jesus are the choosen people, the real Jews." This is a supremascist phrase. "the REAL Jews" As in we are fake, as in we are liers. As in we have no real value to our OWN identity. Do I want prosletyzing Christains trying to convert my family and threaten them at least with spiritual damnation. do we really want to become a minority in a Jewish country...this could happen if they reverse this decision. And then history will repeat itself...they will discriminate....they will persecute...they brutalize us and our ways.

Jews here in Israel follow Buddahism and all sorts of Hindu gods. There are even festivals for them here and the biggest, The new Age festival which even has Satanism in it. Nobody denies they are Jews, why persecute other Jews who happen to have a different belief?
