Danny (05.09.09) funny you should ask that, who fund Hamas, who set Hamas up, who trained it leaders. Nope sorry it was not Iran, hell even American did not create them nope Israel created them trained and organise them.
32. they both as bad as each other
David ,   coventry England   (05.10.09)
payman an how are Palestinians treated in Israel, I do hear they get there house knock down, randomly imprison, shot at for protesting, court rulings in favour of them are regularly ignored by the goverment. You even tried to get political parties banned. Seem like Israel is just as bad as Iran. In fact take into consideration Israel refuses to sign up to international treaties on nuclear arms, it in violating international laws by not doing so, it actually slightly worse than Iran at least they willing to obey the law. And the law does say they allow enrich technology except security can arbitrary override this at will. These to countries are both as bad as each other, if I have my way I wipe both of the map and end it.
33. #2 - you forgot to say how they're linked
redbourn ,   tel aviv   (05.10.09)
you mentioned "nutcases' but only one person wrote the article. he did explain why there is no linkage in great detail but you didn't give one reason as to why he is wrong. maybe you hit the 'send' button too early? Mike
34. the US position based on emotion
avrom ,   bet shemesh   (05.10.09)
and not logic that is why it is pointless to try and argue with the US. Events [such as 9/11not arguments change peoples opinions .Simon Tisdall writing in the Guardian said Obama's biggest nightmare would be if Israel attacked Iran then the US would be forced to fight on Israel's side
35. To No. 11
Abraham ,   USA   (05.10.09)
Are you sure that Iranian Jews are happy to be in Iran. It was true during the tolerant reign of Pahlavi Shahs. I assure you most Iranian Jews would leave given a chance.
36. #31, actually it wasn't
Danny   (05.11.09)
but hey who cares about facts right?
37. #32, again factually inaccurate
Danny   (05.11.09)
guess it is what comes from googling "I hate Israel"
38. Inverse Iran-Israel linkage
observer   (05.11.09)
The Arabs states view Israel's existence itself as a provocation. Since Israel will not agree to its dissolution so that a "Palestinian" may rise upon the ashes of Israel, there will not be "peace." Therefore, there is no direct linkage between the "peace" process and Iran, but the opposite is true: if Israel weakens itself through the "peace" process, then Iran will be emboldened to attack Israel to finish Israel off. But even if there is "peace" from the Arab point of view (i.e. Israel is wiped off the map), the many Arab conflicts throughout the world that have nothing to do with Israel will not end.
