Since its inception Israel has been the currency the USA used to pay for Arab favors. 1956 Eisenhower stopped the Sinai campaign, hoping to get Egypt to align itself with the USA instead of the USSR (that hope didn't materialize). 1970 Nixon instructed Israel to save the King of Jordan from the Syrians, and Israel complied. Of course, the USA publicly condemned Israeli "aggression". 1973 the USA stopped Israel from conquering Cairo and in 1979 forced Israel to give Sinai back, in order (again) to get Egypt to the American side---this time it worked. 1991-1993 Bush sr. and Clinton forced Israel into the "peace process" in order to pay American dues to Arabs for their "help" (actually non-obstruction) in fighting Iraq. 2003 Bush jr. forced the Road Map onto Israel in order to appease Arabs after invading Iraq. True, all the time the USA provided help to Israel: If you want to milk the cow, you need to feed it. Obama, however, seems to prefer slaughtering it. America is likely to perform a major policy shift, similar to France under de Gaulle in the 1960s.

And just as we suspected, he has in a very short time brought devastating changes to our country which we will probably never recover from. He has no regard for Israel just as he has no regard for America. His present stance toward the Iranian threat to your great country is in direct contradiction to that of the majority of the American people. The God who chose Israel to be His own people is the same God who I worship. And He has assured us in His holy word that no matter who comes against you, or with what weapons, Israel will NEVER be destroyed. And He will keep His word. Not long ago, Israel agreed to hand over it's own defense to the Americans by allowing a base for monitoring and manning defense systems in Israel, to be manned only by Americans. Was this a wise move?

Obama may indeed be trying to distance America from Israel, but let the Jewish people know that there are millions of Americans who stand with Israel and are steadfast in their support. I am one, and we don't really care what Obama thinks about it.

I hope you realize that not all Americans agree with Obama's plans. There are many, but not enough, people, Christians, who support Israel. I still believe in the blessings and curses that will come to those who do not bless Israel. My prayers are with Israel.
