Study: Only 70,000 flats to be sold in 2009     Ory Chudy, Calcalist
1. Units sold in 2009
The problem is nobody can afford the darn things! Super low wages, super high prices and now mass unemployment. Many of us fled Jerusalem and its high priced flats that only rich tourists can afford--Meanwhile locals live in cock-roach infested, leaky storage closets. It is time somebody realized that the ordinary worker needs a decent, affordable flat as well--and there are a whole lot of us "ordinary folk" in this country.

3. What do you expect?
In Australia if you work at Mc Donalds for an hour you can buy 1.5 meals where as in Israel you have to work 2 hours to purchase one meal. This is an embarrassment. When you have such a fat government for such a small population to start with, what else would one expect? This makes the property market here the most over inflated market in the world.
