1. Move 'em
frank ,   israel   (05.25.09)
Now let us suppose it was settlers living on the land and they were cut off, or moved, who would complain? If having their relatives is so important, and it probably is, they can easily move to the other side of the "street". I doubt if anyone here would mind. But the fact that they will remain, and cry, and the whole world will cry for them is the problem. And the settlers who were living in Gaza? What about their lives? But yet for a few individuals the world will cry and decry Israel as a racist, abusive country aim at destroying their friendly, peaceful arab neighbors....frankly I don't care, why don't they move? They will claim they have been there, in that location, for 46 trillion years and that is why. They lived here before there was even life, we stole their land...(they seem to always throw that in but forget to mention the wars they started and how they lost) but no matter, we are enslaving them, imagine they have to go through checkpoints (designed because their people keep trying to kill us), imagine that butality....how terrible we are imagine us trying to live and survive while they are trying to kill us, the nerve of some people.....
2. Hehe, I know this place - looks like an isle!
Tevye ,   Chelm   (05.25.09)
But id gilve them gladly a oneway ticket to Saudi Arabia or whatsoever!
3. settlers
avi ,   jerusalem   (05.25.09)
the main problem to begin with is the wall being built on their land. Secondly settlers are always on stolen land to begin with so when they are moved they only benefit because the israeli government gives them new housing which they resell for 10 times the original value.
4. Sad story indeed : the State should compensate them
(05.25.09)
and maybe help relocate them to the "good" side of the fence to be closer of their families. There are not always bright side for the fence: that's for sure but it has saved so many lives that this is much better to have those kind of stories rather than to see stories of people killed in buses or pubs!
5. #3 According to your logic you are a settler too!
freejay3333 ,   Israel   (05.25.09)
You really are pathetic! Give these thieving Arabs Tel Aviv back you hypocrite!
6. #3 - Avi - your claim has no legal basis
William ,   Israel   (05.25.09)
You leftist moron. Settlers are not on stolen land. No private land was expropriated for them, ever. They reside on vacant hilltops. Under the law of federal jurisdiction, public land is in the hands of the govt, and since Israel still rules the West Bank in the absence of a Pal state, they can do with it as they wish. Otherwise, other Arab states which were given birth (and land) by the British govt after WWI should lose legitimacy and be dismantled.
7. Move the fence around them
William ,   Israel   (05.25.09)
It is a tall order but since we all hope that one day the fence won't be necessary, it should cause as little pain to residents as possible. I don't care if the fence is on their private land. Let them cry to their govt who supported deadly suicide attacks against innocent Israeli civilians for decades. But moving the fence just beyond their house in order to help them maintain their connection with their family and friends is a must. Plus, why would we want more Arabs inside Israel, even temporarily?
8. pictures of irony
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (05.25.09)
i thought muslims wanted their women covered to prevent them from being a temptation because in the pictures the ugly women are covered while the pretty one isn't. shouldn't it be the other way around since the pretty one is a temptation because she's pretty and the ugly ones, well, have ugliness going in their favor? just askin'.
9. to all the heartless talkers
joe ,   usa   (05.27.09)
i think these people deserve any rights their neighbors nothing less after all they were there first, just by looking at the pictures i can tell their house waaaaay older than the settlements just up the hills from the house.oh yeah i did see the same heart breaking story on other sites.with pics.if you have something good to say about this say it if not, just shut up.all neighbors should be equal in every way, these people living in hell while everybody else around them living the good life, give them the blue id cards,so they can move around freely.enough said.they are after all only people it will not break the Israeli government.
