However, there's just one thing I would add and it's that the idea of a "Palestinian" state was an outgrowth of the creation of a heretofore non-existent "Palestinian" people, which was a figment of the imagination of the late, unlamented Yasser Arafat when he formed the PLO in 1964...fully three years before Israel even gained control of the territories. That being the case, what exactly was the Palestine "Liberation" Organization created to liberate? I think we know the answer. Unfortunately, somebody in Israel should have been asking the question....over and over again if necessary.
