Mubarak: Netanyahu will agree to two-states    Roee Nahmias
1. Ok, give the dignified, opportunistic Arabs a state.
But when the first terrorist acts occur, considering that they will be coming from a sovereign state, they will be acts of war and Israel will have EVERY right to retaliate. Now recall that the US and the world has armed the PA 'police' to the teeth- so that they will have to 'defend' the motherland from the terrible Israeli invaders. Street to street fighting in Jerusalem and the west bank. Courtesy of the brilliant Saudi 'peace plan' that Pres. Obama forced down Bibi's throat. If Bibi agrees to two states, war is the only plausible outcome. Better to force Egypt to take Gaza and Jordan to take the West Bank.

2. Olmert agreements
Since informal agreements between prior American administrations and Israel are invalid, why should informal agreements between prior Israeli administrations and the PLO be valid?

3. Only viable solution IF a solution is the goal
Hamas and the Islamists have a different goal and with the help of Iran will make sure no peace with the infidel Jews will ever exist ...

4. Peace with Bibi? Oxymoron.
Common sense backers should mobilize and demand an israel govt. that supprots the 2-state solution.

5. David #1: Idiocy!
What you've written is flat out idiotic. "Considering (their terror) will be coming from a sovereign state, they will be acts of war and Israel will have EVERY right to retaliate." Good grief!

7. yeah "that supprots the 2-state solution"
couldn't have said ,   it better   (06.10.09)
8. MUBARAK... WANT TO BET ON THIS???
hot air from an exhausted and utterly spent political figure.
stude ham   (06.10.09)
9. To # 1
We disengaged from Gaza then had to go and route out the terrorists which did not please the rest of the world. You want to put more Israeli soldiers lives at risk by giving away Judea and Samaria?
Leah ,   Israel   (06.10.09)
10. Yes....2 states....Israel and Arab Palestine in Jordan!
Like it was supposed to be in the first place!
Freejay3333 ,   Israel   (06.10.09)
11. "Israelis have become experts on
stalling for time"? "Element of time is harmful to the immage of America"?? Excuse us for nothing, Mr.Mitchell, the new Messiah wannabe...But when it comes to peace agreements with our sworn enemies, we have no reason to believe, that another one of those one sided agreements will bring safety to millions of Israeli Jews. We also couldn't care less about the political process, that is pressuring only one side-the side that is always obides by agreements and withdrawals, but suffer intensified terror acts as a result. Withdrawals from legitimate lawful Jewish land, never brought peace or satisfied the enemy, because the enemy has never accepted the right of Israel to exist. Tey were never shy to admit, that their objective is to innihilate the Jewish State...Natanyahu & his cainet have no right to even lift a finger, until the pali gov.&chamas recognize the right of Israel to exist as a Jewish state & even if they do it,they need to pass the test of time to become a partner in negotiations. Obviously, Mr. Mitchell this will not happen on your lifetime and not in the foreseen future...

12. when all Islamic states recognize Israel
as ourJewish homeland only then could there be the possibility of a peaceful solution. BiBI or noone has the right to barter our homeland away offering a 2 state solution on empty promises.Take one look at Gaza & see how much Hamas & most Gazans want peace.Yeah, the only peace they want is Israel to be another Islamic state.. Enough already! Never Again

13. Arafat's Homeland - Egypt
Why didn't Egypt take control of Gaza in August 2005? Why did they say to Israel - you keep it? The home of the Muslim Brotherhood and of modern day terrorism is Egypt. Mubarek, the dictator was instrumental in the assassination of Sadat and was a friend of the terrorist groups that Arafat, Abbas, and Yassin were part and leaders of. We all know that Egypt harbors terrorism and attacks those who are not Muslim.

14. Israel must stand strong
Israel should not succumb to these external pressures and manipulations. Their goal is to decapitate Israel. Why should Israel be deceived and led to the slaughter place like a sacrificial lamb? Israel should say NO to their CRAP.
Brod ,   USA   (06.11.09)
