Voters: Yisrael Beiteinu failed us    Yael Levy
1. Religious weddings IN civil ceremonies OUT!!
Yaniv ,   Israel   (06.11.09)
2. Nu ma?
What do you expect...honest politicians? A lot of people put their faith in Lieber"Uber alles"man. Niave fools!
zznhl   (06.11.09)
3. I actively volunteered for Yisrael Beiteinu
during the recent election and am disappointed that the party appeared to cower out of its responsibility and principles vis a vis civil marriages and did nothing to further the integration of parts of Israeli society which, right now, appear alienated.
Robert Haymond ,   Ashdod, Israel   (06.11.09)
4. DUUH !!!
Since when does voting here means, that the people you voted for take care of our concerns. Repeatedly I have written that Lieberman is just a back full of hot air without any substance and his party is just a repeat performance of Shinui. While Olmert talked a great deal, it will be Bibi who will give up our land and help create another Islam Fascist state. As long as these same people do their chair dance for their Knesset seats in order to receive all their perks and very large life long pensions, nothing will change . What realy happens here is in the hands of a very few insiders and their Boss the USA.
DAVID ,   JUDEA   (06.11.09)
5. Is there any electorate
anywhere as cynical as the normal Israeli? I have to admit, sometimes the cynicism gets me down so much that I have to run for cover in order to later recognize that which is positive or even half-good.
Robert Haymond ,   Ashdod, Israel   (06.11.09)
6. Hey Robert
You have to admit that our cynsism is bred by many many years of being ruled by bad politicians, a very higher percentage of whom are corrupt - whether by money or power - and who are only interested in their own aims and ambitions and who care very little for the people who vote for them. How many politicians only come out of the woodwork at election time. They visit the Golan and claim "...not one grain of sand..." promise to help the pensioners, reduce taxes, and improve the lot of the poor. When the elections are over they disappear down their holes untill the next election. Leiberman was the latest "white hope" and he's gone the way of all the others.
zznhl   (06.11.09)
7. This is just a little broken promise, just wait til Israel
Beiteinu starts breaking the really big and important promises they made to their voters! Then the real fun and games will begin!
