1. A new, Israeli Ben Nun
B"H
It is said that a name is indicative of one's character and may even influence the bearer’s destiny. I'm sure most readers notice the important surname of this author and compare his opinion with the Ben Nun we know from the Tanach. Strikingly, and in complete contrast with the late general and prophet Yehoshua, this modern day "rabbi" Yoel Ben Nun seem to have lost view of G-d's plan and instructions for the Jewish people: to possess the Land of Israel. The words "Torah", for example, appears only once in his text and in a disputable context: "rav." Yoel suggests that The Torah supposedly forbids the use of violence against policemen or the army when these engage in activity against the Jews on the Land of Israel. It would have been good if this author provided us with sources in support of his absurd view, as it is customary. Words like "G-d", "God" or "god" also are missing from his text, whereas "authority" appears three times and "government" five times. This is indicative of Ben Nun and suggests that he maybe worshipping government authority rather than G-d.

3. Altalena?
What are we supposed to learn from the Altalena affair? If we don't give in to the demands of the Left, then they will just shoot us and make the decision for us? And therefore we should just make it easier and given in? That is pretty grim and doesn't leave any real options. Let's consider another approach. The Charedim make a mess one shabbos and the government backs down. The Arabs lob missile after missile, stabbing after stabbing, etc etc, and slowly but surely the government is backing down. The settlers do almost nothing, and they are at the top of the agenda.

5. What they SHOULD do...
What the settlers should really do is all move from the scattered and isolated outposts all over the west bank and move to Jerusalem and its environs.
No one cares about 5 tents in the northern west bank, Jerusalem is whatis important!
Israel should annex all of Jerusalem and the surrounding areas, if all the settlers move there would be a huge Jewish majority over Jerusalem.
I say concentrate Jerusalem as that is what really unites us. Stick a finger to the world and annex Jerusalem and its environs!

6. G. Shalom & P. Now
Why do the self-proclaimed "pro-peace" folks so frequently promote divisiveness, show contempt for other opinions and beliefs, and express themselves in an aggresive, nasty manner?

8. Obama and the Settlements
Obama has no business telling the sovereign state of Israel to do anything. He, alone, hasn't garnered any trust to do anything anywhere.PeaceNow is a traitorous organization that should be thoroughly investigated and indicted. Its funding sources are foreign and, therefore, possibly illegal. Israel has got to put a stop to these organizations that are sowing enmity between Israelis.
Bibi had better tell the US that it may not interfere in internal domestic activities, that it should close up shop in the West Bank, and Jerusalem. That peace is not and cannot be unilateral, and that
past agreements with Israel if not honored releases all parties from any past obligations.Washington has the most vicious anti-Semites in the US government of any administration in US history. Rahm , Soros, Bing,Powers,Brzenski,Kurtzer, Indyk, plus,
many, many more as you all know.
In the 1967 War, Israel acquired all of these lands legally in defending itself. No one has the right to contest any of it., including Jerusalem, which Abbas says, Obama promised to the Palestinians. (Excuse me!?)Close the doors, Bibi, after explaining not one country imposing its will has not previously been guilty, in fact, of trying to annihilate the Jews, overtly, or covertly. Enough is enough.
