The issue is not only gay rights, but civil rights in general. Why should any group impose its own lifestyle on the rest? Fear of violence should not be a deterrent. The State has an obligation to afford all its citizens their rights. Should the State move Sderot or defend it? This is no different. It is an obligation and not a question of cost-effectiveness.

In relative terms, they are accomplised, professional and talented (Leonardo da Vinci, Chopin, Alexander, Abu Nawwas - to name a few). Also we have hundreds if not thousands of relatives in the animal kingdom - penguins are among my favorites!

Nobody is born gay. Anyone who is gay was influenced by his/her surroundings, how he/she was brought up, who he/she was brought up with, and who he/she spent most of their time with. If you have become an outkast in society for whatever reason, this can influence you being gay. Nobody is born gay. You are born either as a male or as a female. They are some of the nicest people on Earth who have some of the best feelings. I have never met a mean gay individual with a black heart or negative feelings.
