I like your attitude. It indicates a progressive person and a modern Arab identity.... We can disagree on the "why are people gay" but the core issue is respect and I salute you for this. Putting aside Israel's racist policies (occupation, apartheid wall, collective punishment, control of Palestinian resources, etc.) I have deep respect and admiration to the way it treats *certain* minorities including gay people. I think the emerging State of Palestine has a lot to learn from Israel, if it wishes to be the model Arab state and that it will be. WIth a democratic process already in place, the ball is rolling... The PA is already making strides in institution-building and watching Palestine TV regularly is a pleasure these days because they're clearly *showcasing* new initiatives in the area of handicaps rehabilitation, congenial disease counseling, etc. Hamas must accept that the majority of Palestinians will NEVER accept an Islamic state where gay 15-year olds are hanged in public. In fact we'll lever accept any form of Islamic state. The Turkish secular example is a better model for us. Lebanon to the North is also a beacon of hope, with their Helem iniative which is the first gay rights movement in the Arab world. One can only dream, to get somewhere....

Is Ynet gay? No single day passes without Ynet publishes something about gays and their pride. Ynet, there is nothing to be ashamed of, gay people are totally natural, in fact they should be proud of that. God bless you all, gays and straights, but not atheists, since they don't recognize him.
