4. dishonest reporting NYC beach party
Rich Siegel ,   Teaneck, NJ USA   (06.23.09)
There was a large demonstration against this event organized by Al Awda and female protesters clad in bikinis from Code Pink. At one point, demonstrators succeeded in erecting a Palestinian flag on the fake Tel Aviv beach. I personally participated in the demonstration so I am reporting factually. Leaving this information out is dishonest reporting.
5. LIES, LIES, LIES!!

I was there and I will testify that this event was kinda lame, actually. It was crowded for a time but it was basically an open air concert. Some woman was jumping around onstage in a bikini and she was part of the show. There is NO WAY that could have been 15 tons of sand in what was essentially a large, shallow sandbox as if from a playground, and worst of all, it rained maybe 2/3 of the way into it (it was supposed to go from 11AM - 6PM, but it was over at about 4PM because of the rain which wasn't terribly heavy for the most part. Everyone I know who was there agreed that this event was lame and that it made us miss the REAL Tel-Aviv beach. The Palestinian protest was rather small, quiet and off to the side where they were basically ignored by everyone there. IF the Arab protesters erected a Palestinian flag on the "beach" it must have been after everyone left. It was dishonest reporting however, probably to cover the behinds of the organizers.

7. #4 Just jealous.

It seems the dishonest reporting is all on your part, my friend. Read #5. There was no Balestinian flag. Besides, what kind of lamer would attempt to break up a party in New York just to plant a Balestinian flag on a fake Tel Aviv beach? Planting your flag on what others create does not testify to your ingenuity. Anyway, my complements to you on your activities in Code Pink.
8. #4, Oh sorry. Did you mean this 'Code Pink'?
Jake   (06.23.09)
http://standupforamerica.files.wordpress.com/2009/05/code-pink-murder-troops.jpg I wonder what is more offensive? The banner that says "We support the murder of the American troops"? Or the thought of these ladies in bikinis trying to gate-crash a fake Tel Aviv beach party?
9. Rich Siegel, #4, did you right this?
Jake   (06.23.09)
defending David Irving, "a so-called holocaust denier"? http://qumsiyeh.org/richsiegel/ Hmmm?
10. #4. Educate yourself on the facts.

Khaled al-`Azm, who served as Prime Minister of Syria in 1948 and 1949, wrote in his memoirs (published in Beirut, 1973), that among the reasons for the Arab failure in 1948 was "the call by the Arab Governments to the inhabitants of Palestine to evacuate it and to leave for the bordering Arab countries, after having sown terror among them...Since 1948 we have been demanding the return of the refugees to their homes. But we ourselves are the ones who encouraged them to leave...We have brought destruction upon a million Arab refugees, by calling upon them and pleading with them to leave their land, their homes, their work and business..."
11. Nice news, but sad that Refugee Day in TA went unnoticed
