I think that you, as an Israeli, my not understand the influence Michael Jackson had on the people of the United States (and the world!). Michael Jackson was a gift to the world and it's a good thing that people cry out for him and miss him when he is gone. This shows that Americans are not morally bankrupt, but quite the opposite. The amount of compassion and emotion pouring out from the world over such a great loss shows this. It's also very good that his death is getting so much publicity since there is a real problem with American celebrities being "yessed" by their entourage and doctors to the risk of their own health.
