Report: Settlements polluting West Bank streams    Ynetnews
1. BS it's the west bank villages and the lack of orgenized
sewage system, non of them got one. they don't have municipal servises like trash desposal ect.

2. 100% of PALIS DO NOT treat sewage water and pollute Israel
a fact which should ,   be adressed NOW   (06.28.09)
3. Polluting and Keep Polluting
B"H Arabs in Judea and in Samaria burn their civil and industrial waste every night, producing irrespirable air. Drive East one evening on Route 5 from Tel Aviv, where the wind blows from, to Petach Tiqva and to Ariel and see and smell the destruction of our fine maintain air for yourself. I wrote a letter to the UN, that was testing the Gush Katif soil for toxins left by Israel after the deportation of the Jews from there, and to the environment ministry, about four years ago. Got back only formal acknowledgement of receipt.. Nobody cares and the Arabs keep pumping out polluting and dangerous toxins every evening of the week.

4. One more reason why Settlements MUST BE REMOVED
And to all the idiots above, maybe, just maybe no Palestinian would discharge waste in enviromentally unfriendly ways if the RACIST state of Israel provided their towns with infrastructure in par with other Israeli Jewish-only towns? What do you think about that? Of course, your racist minds are too busy attacking Arabs anywhere anytime, with no regard to your own governments apartheir policies within and outside israel.

5. Disgusting, Settlers and their fans must be punished!!
Moise   (06.28.09)
6. Yummie. I love hot 'n spicy carnards.
...and after poisoning all of the wells, them lousy settelin' JOOOS will use the blood of nearby occupied Arab boys to make felafel, or was that kugel. No. It WAS felafel. Or maybe it was hummus. No. Definitely felafel.

7. B'tselem Pollutes Israel
Yisroel   (06.28.09)
8. of course
we polluted all the other in israel, whats the suprise. You can blame the pali's for almost everything but look at Israels water. In fact drink it. The jordan is a brighter green then nachals kumptas. Lets take some responbilities and start cleaning our water so are kids wont have to fight a war over it. good grief.

9. Ynet makes Bztelem seem balanced
According to the study 90% of the Palestinians settlements are not connected to any sewage processing plant. Compared to that 66% for the Israeli settlements is a great achievement especially since the only way to really solve this problem is with cooperation with the Palestinians.

10. Pollution?? Who exactly pollutes?
Why oh why oh why does YNet provide a stage for all these bloody lies? Anyone with one eye and half a brain can see exactly who is doing the polluting and it sure ain't the Jews! Maybe we should exile both Ynet and Btzelem to those "occupied territories" for a while to get a good whiff of Palestinian activities.

12. How is this the settlers fault? Ridiculous!
Its well known how the Arabs in West BAnk are the cause of this problem! Just drive through any Arab village and see how little they care about the environment! To blame settlements is ludicrous, as they only represent a small percentage of the population in the West BAnk.

14. Yo suffering brothers
and cousins, there is a solution. Human waste can be composted, i.e.collected, stored with a ratio of dry organic matter, it is safe, clean and becomes safe fertilizer in two years. Kitchen laundry and bath water can be recycled as grey water on non food plants and trees without much treatemt at all. Sewage can also be treated in a sereis of pools and swamps. Make Yesha a blooming green oasis. Contact me if you need more detaild advice.

15. THE ONLY SEWAGE COMES FROM
The mouths of B'tselem who are self-hating Jews full of shit..
Lawrence ,   Safed Israel   (06.28.09)
16. #4 Try reading the article, Nour
The solution involves a joint effort with the Palestinian Authority and the PA has refused to cooperate. In addition, the article does not refer to "Israeli Jewish-only towns". It refers to inside Israel where 20% of the population is Arab. If this is such a big problem for the Palestinians, why isn't the PA doing something about it?

17. Gideon reader, loved your post, it made me laugh out loud
What can we expect from Ynet the enemy lover, and under the rubric of "activism", if not the BOGGEYMAN settlers story of the day. I have no doubt that one day we will see a story about blood or human flesh eating settlers. Sad...so much self hatred

18. and arab settlements are Green?!
anyone who has visited an arab town or village, whether in Israel, the west bank, or any given arab country will immediately notice open sewage pouring out into the streets! I am an environmentalist - please don't use the legititmate Green movement to attack Jews in Samaria and Judea with whom you are ideologically opposed. That is wrong and gives B-Tselem an even worse reputation than it already has (ie falsifying, misleading, exaggerating, and out right lying) to get their extreme point of view recognized.

19. If betselem says it
it must be a steaming pile of truth then, right?
moriah ,   saramento, usa   (06.29.09)
20. B'tselem unwittingly defeated its main argument
that Jewish settlements enjoy the benefits of being plugged into Israeli infrastructure, while Palestinian towns languish in their own refuse. Now B'tselem are saying that 1/3 of Jewish settlements are not even connected to a sewage system? That's not exactly a hallmark of luxury and affluence, is it?
Jake   (06.29.09)
21. To #6 :-)
You must be correct about that felafel stuff. Christian blood is reserved for matzo balls. They might think that nobody knows, but some of those Jooooos around here don't marry Christians for nothing. They want to have a steady supply. I've been keeping a close watch on the "mixed" kids next door, especially around Jewish holidays......It's barely 5 AM, and I'm already going into hysterics.
