2. Lots of Pressure

American Jews have been waiting for this, but the antisemites are praying for a crash and burn. The Arab basketball fans are going to heckle him unmercifully, but I now have reason to root for Sacramento and not just the Bullz!
3. #2 nonsense

The good thing about American sports fans is that they are not politicized or racist. America is not Europe where a player is heckled for his skin color like Aaron Winter in Italy, or his faith, as was with Avraham Grant and Eyal Berkovic in Britain, or his nationality, as was with the Bnei Hasharon basketball team when they visited Turkey, or Maccabi Tel Aviv visiting Spain. All American sport fans care about is PERFORMANCE. Just as you don't see American fans picking on baseball players from Venezuela or Cuba, Israelis wouldn't have this problem either. Heck, a Lebanese basketball player even played for an NBA team owned by an Israeli. Shay Doron was an all-star in Maryland, and then brieftly played for the Liberty, and not one single Arab or antisemite ever heckled her... Same for Doron Sheffer and Nadav Henefeld in Connecticut. Fans might boo and heckle Casspi for one of two reasons: either he would suck, and then Sacramento fans would be all over him, or he'd be really good, and opposing crowds would want to unnerve him.
