New IAEA chief elected    Reuters
1. Job #1
Israel-a surprise inspection. Kanitchi wa!
(07.02.09)
2. #1 Oh Dahm-a-ri will you?
(07.02.09)
3. #1 And why would he do that, silly-san?
He has no authority over Israel, nuclear-wise. We didn't sign this magical piece of paper that supposedly brings Peace and Prosperity under benevolent UN regulation - otherwise known as the NPT.
Roman ,   Lod, Israel   (07.02.09)
4. ploy
this is a double ploy. First, it is intended to give DPRK the impression the world continues to move against them. Secondly, it is to undermine Japanese considerations for defensive nuclear preparations.
ben Ish   (07.02.09)
5. Is this instead of or in addition to Muhammad el Baradei?
Jake   (07.02.09)
6. Good. Better than the alternative.
South Africa is completely untrustworthy on the Iran question. Japan, in contrast, has no desire to see nuclear proliferation for obvious historical reasons and is, today, threatened by a North Korean nuclear regime that is out of control.
