Many Arabs immigrated into Palestine when the Jews began returning en mass in the late nineteen, early twentieth centuries; as the Jews built up the land thereby providing jobs which were in high demand. From 1882 to 1914, the Arab population in Palestine had doubled and by 1920 it had nearly tripled. But you are correct there were indigenous Arabs living in Palestine when the Jews began returning to our ancient homeland. Yet there were Canaanites living in the land when Joshua led the Israelites back into our land some 3000 years back. There were indigenous peoples living in north America when white European colonialists began settling and colonizing the land; as they expropriated land from the natives. Yet we do not see anyone demanding American Indian rights to land they occupied and possessed for generations. There is nothing equivalent to "Peace Now" in north America advocating for American Indian rights. Where is a comparable outcry against the American people, formerly European interlopers? Who is advocating for the Lakota Sioux Indians for instance, as they demand the Black Hills in several western states because of U.S. government treaty violations? Why is there no demand America return Texas and California to the Mexicans? Many peoples have displaced indigenous peoples throughout the course of history. How much more should we displace you when you commit acts of violence against out innocent women and children in our God-given land?
