31. Mitchell and Barak talks
DT ,   TA Israel   (07.08.09)
Talks a flop ? Thats the best possible news and of course Israel would get nothing in return so don't give anything. We have done enough "giving for nought"
32. Evacuating the 23 illegal outposts within weeks or months?
Ron B. ,   Lod   (07.08.09)
A qualitative group of people, that volunteers and contributes to society, feels a growing siege strangling them, although they are among the most devoted and patriotic citizens of the Jewish state, and their children command IDF fighting units out of proportion to their numbers. In a country where the justice system is political, a media that makes no room for a flow of opinions, where half the nation finds no place in the media discourse, it should come as no surprise that the only communication tool left them is the rock. In order to know more about the rights of settlers : http://xrl.us/bj5ng

As long as the Palestinians continue acts of terror, why should Israel stop building settlements? The settlements are located on disputed territory and there is no international law that makes them illegal. You have no right to ask them to leave.
34. #33 Cynthia you resort to calling names...
Nour   (07.08.09)
Shows the weakness of your position and low self-confidence. I am not "asking" for the settlers to be removed they WILL be - BIG difference. Just sit back with your coffee and snacks and enjoy the ride. I seriously can't wait for those ultra-orthodox fanatics to be ejected from the West Bank, preferably sent back to Brooklyn.
35. #34 Nour the Conquerer
Cynthia ,   USA   (07.08.09)
Seriously Nour, you're in no position to demand anything. Palestinians are still slithering into Israel for terror. Gaza was handed to the Palestinians on a platter and they immediately destroyed the place. If statehood and preserving land in the West Bank is so important, why are the Palestinians making no effort to meet their obligations? In your own words, you want to drive them off the land. Palestinian leaders are obviously benefiting from the status quo.
36. #12 Nour
Michael ,   Haifa   (07.08.09)
Sad to say, but Nour is correct in much what he says
37. ILLEGAL SETTLEMENTS
Ron ,   FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA   (08.01.09)
CYNTHIA #33 WILL BE DISAPPOINTED TO LEARN THAT THERE ARE LAWS THAT MAKE THE SETTLEMENTS ILLEGAL. UN RESOLUTIONS 228 AND 334 DECLARE THEM ILLEGAL. THEY HAVE BEEN DECLARED IN VIOLATION OF THE 4TH GENEVA CONVENTION, AND THEREFORE A WAR CRIME.
38. ILLEGAL SETTLEMENTS
RON ,   FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA   (08.01.09)
YONATAN #12 KNOWS HOW LAWS ARE MADE IN ISRAEL BUT APPARENTLY DOESN'T KNOW THAT THE SETTLEMENTS ARE A VIOLATION OF THE 4TH GENEVA CONVENTION AND THEREFORE A WAR CRIME. UN RESOLUTION 667 CONFIRMED THAT JUDGEMENT.
