You're the one who needs etiquette lessons. In the US, it is customary for adults and children to wear black at funerals. And unlike your culture, we don't ban women and girls from accompaniying the body to the grave. That is just plain stupid. It was kind of weird having it be Christian when I'm not sure people knew what religion he was. Overall though it was a nice service. People defended him and pointed out all his good traits-which I respect, even though I don't agree with everything. Otherwise some of the songs and especially the song "Smile" that Germaine sang were very nice.

One last thing-it's funny cause these kids have been hidden from public for a long time. It was kind of shocking to for them to be singing and the little girl making a speech.
