"get the hell out of my face" bla bla bla, he won't like the idea of talking with the one who got setlers support either way the lack of palis will make good PR for Israel. Abbas won't go for it cause he won't want to be portrait as Israel friend(by palis terms traitor).
2. Haha, now stop the land grabs. Only then we can chat.

3. Meeting in Beer Sheva
Poppy   (07.12.09)
THIS IS A BRILLIANT IDEA I STILL CANNOT WORK OUT WHY THE ARABS ARE SO STUBBORN NOT TO MAKE PEACE WITH ISRAEL EVEN IF IT IS A COLD PEACE LIKE EGYPT AND JORDAN AT LEAST THE PEOPLE WILL BEABLE TO LIVE BETTER AND THE ECONOMY WILL FLURISH THEY WILL BEABLE TO LIVE A LIFE BETTER THAN IN AMERICA COME ON LETS START THE PROCESS
4. Netanyahu "pleads"
DT ,   TA Israel   (07.12.09)
Stop cow towing to the Palestinians. They don't want peace. All Israel has ever done is give, give, give and gets only rockets in return. Netanyahu you are "Livni in a suit". Find a "Courage pill" and take the bottle.

Nour   (07.12.09)
Imagine a scenario where I constantly shatter the earth you're standing on, deny you exist, and besiege you from all directions, then ask you to meet me to make me "anywhere" to make peace. Has he forgotten the colonies? The confiscations, demolitions, and 700 checkpoints, not to mention the total siege on Gaza? Ridiculous isn't it? Netanyahou is not a dumb man, he knows exactly that his calls will fall on deaf ears and no talks will ever begin without a total halt to the illegal land grabs since '67. That's exactly his plan.
6. Such a meeting will not take place for a thousand years, if
Amihai ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (07.12.09)
one is to accept Saeb Erekat's statement in reference to Netanyahu - and by extension to the rest of the Jewish people, within and without Israel - demand that the Muslim-Arabs recognize Israel's right to exist as the nation-state of the Jewish people, without which recognition little can be expected in the form of an accommodation of peaceful coexistence. Netanyahu of course was right to finally demand it of the Arabs. Will the Arabs accept this simple and sensible requirement because it is the right thing to do, and because without it no peace can be expected...??
7. to #5 you mean the British.
ghostq   (07.12.09)
they r the one who built the refugee camps just Israel got them as "gift" lol in 67 without Israel you would be part of Jordan witch kinda make sense, face it, what history palis got? anything? mmm didn't think so, you weren't nation before, not a race or joined history.
8. Abbas should not meet with a clown!
Marco ,   Spain   (07.12.09)
9. clever
Mark   (07.12.09)
this clown is CLEVER! He leads the circus of arabs around and around the arena and they never ever get anywhere. Eventually the lion will get them.
10. Here is our dilemma ......
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (07.12.09)
For those of us who are right-of-centre, we have a big dilemma. And, Netanyahu knows this - we don't want his gov't. to fall so he figures we will just shut up as he wanders to the left. He is trying to please the Obama administration & other of our foreign ''friends'' & avoid criticism from our left-wing media. Like most of our self-centred politicians, only his political survival matters. If he believes what he's saying, than he's a fool & a delusional incompetent. If he doesn't believe what he's saying, he is being quite disingenuous & cynically dishonest. This is not what a real leader does. This is what a political hack does.
11. TO # 10
FAD EGYPT   (07.12.09)
MR TERRY WHICH PARYTY GOT UR VOTE IN LAST ELECTION PLEASE?
12. Abbas, the cowardly weakling, afraid to meet with Netanyahu
Bob ,   Boston USA   (07.12.09)
Abbas does not want to meet with the newly elected leader of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, because he is so used to meeting with wimpy Israeli leaders who kiss his wimpy ass. Abbas, you are a cowardly weakling and like all Palestinian leaders you are most afraid of your own people. Thank goodness, Bibi is in charge now. Be strong Bibi and stand up for Israel. Be strong like Menahem Begin in defending Israel's rights in our Jewish homeland.
