Nobody gives a damn about the Negev as a whole. There were promises to turn the desert into an oasis or whatever since the days of Ben Gurion :) Btw, if they're so poor, why do they have houses that look like palaces? I'm not asking out of animosity or anything, I just don't get it...

Just get the JNF and the state to modernise the Bedouin towns. Who cares if the villages are all registered/legal. Just get it over with. How expensive can it be? If the JNF sets up a fund for the project, I'll gladly donate for the cause. "They can always find other [sic] country" Why? They are Israelis? Their people fought and died for Israel. They have every right to live in Israel and we should pay more attention to their situation. They are our allies, and you look after your allies.

True, no one cares about the Negev, and this is why we are not protected against Bedouins collecting protection money, their smuggling drugs and women, so this is were the money comes from.
