that the bible book was the first book (to the masses) that was printed in Germany, befor they use to hand write the bible and it wasn't for all but only to religious leaders, there is a good book and also a movie "The Name of the Rose" who explain more, and... some of them r old testaments not neceserily created by jews for jews. but still it's the same book.
2. For English text reading of the Bible, I would suggest...
Rivkah   (07.15.09)
the Hebraic Roots Version Bible available from Michael Rood online. It is a direct translation from Hebrew to English instead of the Hebrew to Aramaic to Greek to Latin to German to Old English to New English. The Authorized King James Bible has a lot of mistranslations. The newer version English Bibles take out over 50,000 words to get a copywrite to make money. But even the Authorized King James Bible has translation errors. "Thou shalt not murder" in the Hebrew somehow became "Thou shalt not kill" in the AKJV Bible and other translations. To murder is to kill with malice and forethought without lawful authority. To kill means something else entirely, as if defending oneself and killing by government police or military authority are not approved by God. In the book of Job in the Bible, the Hebrew, "Behold! My WORDS are VILE" became "Behold! I am vile!" in English translations of most Bibles. The point was that Job was not a loathsome being since he was made in the image of God. His WORDS were loathsome. It is important to measure one's WORDS to be approved of God since even the Torah is called the WORD of God.
3. Rabbi Yeshua said when he comes as the Lion of Judah to
Rivkah   (07.15.09)
deliver Israel at the end of the Gentile era, there would be followers of his still alive who were on earth when he was here as the sacrificial Lamb to graft the Gentiles onto the Jewish faith. Obviously, some deaths were faked for that to be true. Olaf Hage of Maine has found that a few notable people's facial features are identical when pictures of them are super-imposed on each other. Johannes Gutenberg who invented the printing press is the same person as William Dampier who is the same person as Leonardo Da Vinci. He believes they are all Joseph of Arimathea who was the adopted father of Rabbi Yeshua after Joseph the Carpenter died. Joseph of Arimathea had the throne seat on the Sanhedrin long ago. The Bible says the scepter will not depart from Judah until Shiloh comes. Joseph of Arimathea was of the tribe of Judah that has the scepter or kingship of the Hebrews from the blessing of Jacob to his son Judah. Shiloh is a name for the Messiah when he comes as the Lion of Judah.
4. I saw the new testament in Hebrew.

for real, didn't understood what it said but it was so cool to see.
5. Please don't make it the new JPS English translation

The orginal 1917 Jewish Publication Society English translation (as shown on Mechon-mamre.org) is one of the best English translations ever made of the Tanach. The new Jewish Publication Society translation, as seen in bookstores, is a pale reflection of the Tanach. It basically paraphrases the text, cuts and adds words where it sees fit, and is full of errors and inaccuracies. It is one of the worst translations I have ever seen.
6. Translations Are NOT Bible!
Paqid Yirmeyahu ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (07.16.09)
Translations infuse errors driven by preconceptions and biases of translators rather than frame of reference of original, Judaic Jewish authors (for which consult Dead Sea Scroll 4Q MMT). Such translations, beginning with the Hellenist LXX, are responsible for the plethora of misconceptions, schisms, cults and denominations rampant throughout most of the world--and even a significant amount of the disunity within the Jewish community. There is ONE Bible: תנ"ך. NO other! תנ"ך prohibits any addition or redaction, precluding displacement theology books (NT and Qoran). It is written almost entirely in Hebrew with some Aramaic. If you have not, or are not, reading תנ"ך then you have not, and are not, reading the Bible. If you want to know about the Bible, start learning Hebrew NOW. Otherwise, you know NOTHING about the Bible. Nothing is more ignorant or exasperating than someone who can't even read a book arrogantly presuming to preach its content to those who wrote it and have recited it every Shabbat for public peer review of pronunciation, phraseology and emphasis, and have daily read, discussed and debated it with each other for millennia.
