It also makes perfect sense that the husband would not know anything about this. I'm sure he is in shock. He needs to consult a lawyer and outside medical experts to review what care his son was given and to review the videos they have of his wife tampering -or not- with the son's treatment. This matter belongs in a court of law now. Rioting on the streets won't help anything. I believe had this happened in the US there would be similar police intervention to remove the mother from the son. It doesn't seem strange that at this stage she is being held by law enforcement. Treatment can't start for any condition the mother may have until a review is made by those qualified to make a diagnosis, or not, of Münchhausen's. Personally, I think the police were just trying to protect this woman and her other children. The woman needs compassion and sympathy. Her son needs to get better. Go to court and have this sorted out.

With Munchausens, sometimes the women do things such as injecting fecal matter into the kids veins and also having unnecessary surguries done, etc. It can get really bad to where the children die. I've read that the profile is perhaps a troubled marriage, a medical backround, and as a seemingly devoted mother. Also there can be deteriation after visits by the mother, and when the mother is gone for awhile the child becomes healthy again.

I believe #13 is quoting from a source that purports to be the father. But, I want to commend your for stating that if this woman is guilty she belongs in prison. Most people in prison have psych problems. That does not mean they are not responsible for their actions. People are arguing that she should not be in the court system because she has a mental illness. One, that has yet to be proved. Two, sadists also have a mental illness but we don't give them a pass for their behavior. Whether you kill your kid by beating them to death because you are a sadist or kill your kid by starving/poisoning him to death by cause you have MbP, the result and culpability is the same.

I am really surprised at the lack of any reaction from so called normal Israelis. They pay to support these people who don't work and reach their hand to grap the dole. Do you really have to maintain these gangs of pseudo-religious freaks? Anyway, it is good to live in the Czech Republic and be a conservative man.
