Environmental Ministry steps up fight against cellular antennas    Yael Darel
1. Cellular antenaes
Kol hakavod to Environmental Protection Minister Gilad Erdan!!!
Sarah ,   Jerusalem   (07.19.09)
2. Is Minister Erdan going to turn off his cellphone?
The fact is that nothing is really known about the effect of cell phone radiation, radiation from TV's and other domestic appliances. Over the last few years we have been bombarded with reports, mainly from the UK and Scandinavia, regarding cell phone radiation. As quickly as a report comes out there is another one negating the findings of the previous one. What is certain is that young children should not use cell phones as their skulls are still thin and radiation could be harmful. However, is this radiation more harmful than the sun's rays on the beach? Is it more harmful than the electromagnetic radiation which is generated in our homes from our 21st Century appliances? It is certainly less harmful than the cigarette smoke we breathe in each time we go into a supermarket or a shopping mall where the smokers congregate creating an unavoidable smoke screen. It should be noted that much of the cigarette smoke at these entrances is caused by the security personnel charged with protecting us! Minister Erdan's war against smoking is laudable but before entering into a new battle he should take a good look at how many parents smoke and breathe their smoke into the faces of their children! Also, many of those who protest cell phone radiation use cell phones and smoke like chimneys!

3. David: Cell studies asserting harmlessness are paid by Cell
companies. They also pay people like you to respond exactly the way you did in this talkback. Trying to convince the public through the voice of the "average David" in a talkback that really we're just getting all worked up about nothing while they continue to bombard us from every angle with radiation. By the way -- childrens' skulls are thinner and more in danger, but adults heads are demonstrably endangered by cell phone use as well. It's like sticking your head in a microwave. 4. radiation
Cell phone radiation frequencies cannot cause ionization. They do not have enough energy to ionize biological cells. The frequencies that start to cause problems are in the range of deep blue, and near ultraviolet light. The energy in infared radiation is far far higher than that of cell phone frequencies and yet we warm are toes and hands near many watts of "heat' coming from a cozy fire and are afraid of milliwatts eminating from are cellphones. This basic science (photo electric effect) was published in 1919 by Einstein and won him the Nobel Prize. Where are the scientists in this debate that is seemingly led by Astrologers?

5. 3 L is right. 4 Bill is wrong. Cellphones were developed
to emit radiowavelength that are the same as brain cells which kills brain cells. Since it has been known since the 1920's that bombarding a cell or micro organism with the same radiowavelength as the cell or micro organism kills the same, I have to believe the development of cell phones was a deliberate attempt to harm humans and to cause brain cell death and cancer. Who would do such a horrid thing? The devil is very powerful and is a murderer and he hates God's creation or mankind.

6. Yawn, the minister got his headline...
but its sort of a Don Quixote activity as by now it has been what 18 - 19 years since the first cellular antenna went up...where has he been all these years?!
(07.23.09)
7. 15 opposite our home
Jerusalem Municipality has allowed the businessman opposite our home to erect about 15 antennae on a building which houses both a Girls Seminary and an Old peoples home - close to a school and right opposite our salon window. Will the miniter please check our home for radiation?
