It doesn't appear as though you have an impoverished population here. Video clips of the thousands of West Bank Palestinians enjoying these pastry delights may yet move the Gazans to take another look at their leaders. Apparently the produce of the WB ovens carry much farther and with much better effect than all the rockets from Gaza..

10. Arabs are gooooood cooks. If you want to know how good, go
to the upstairs Arab cafe at Gali Center in Ramat Gan. My sister had next door neighbors who were Iranian refugees in California. They brought food when they visited and it was soooo delicious. The cucumber/yogurt salad was the best. So this big pastry is going to be tasty.
